Her face has been both drawn and painted on. Her hair is painted swirls. She has rosy cheeks, pink lips and the corners of her eyes have been colored pink, along with her nostrils. Her irises are a pale blue/grey. She has thick black lashes and a tiny dimple in her chin. Her head is big and round from the front, and somewhat flat from the sides (known as a’lollipop’ head doll). She has chubby hands with little nubby fingers. All her clothing has been sewn on, including her bonnet. She has a navy blue calico dress, and linen bloomers. Her shoes are oil cloth. She is quite solid and filled with straw (which you can see through her muslin body). The doll is jointed at the shoulders and hips and can sit. This doll has it all! A great folky, primitive look and a lovely addition to your collection! Condition: This doll is in very good condition for her age. Her socks have faded, there’s a small hole in the back of her bonnet and her bloomers are slightly dirty and have yellowed over the years. There are no holes in the doll. Add me to your favorites!
