Fine watercolor on paper laid down on canvas to stabilize. Original period frame over painted decorative corners 32″ by 25 1/4″. The Nicholas is in heavy seas wit the sails down except one which is damaged. High wind and rough seas great sky and colors water looks treacherous. Wonderful period frame gilt not sure if painted over or dirty. Painting under original wavy period glass painting is 27″ by 20″.
