It also was produced c1835 (pre 1900). Really wonderful American Folk portrait miniatures of a family from a New Orleans estate. Obviously a Father, Mother and Child, all by the same artist, all identical oval format, framed and matted identically in carved wood and molded gilt frames with later hangers, original gilt wood matts. The condition of the miniatures are fine, the frames having chips from the molding in various places but generally in very good original condition. Overall each frame is 5 3/4″ x 5 1/4″.
