Affluent house with two boys running – One is holding a rifle and the other a fishing pole while pair drives by in automobile. Kramer relocated to LA from the east coast c. 1945 and is documented to have begun exhibiting in CA in 1947. Signed on lower right by the artist. Measures 24″ by 30″. There are some condition issues. Kramer was an interior decorator in Cleveland, Ohio in 1930. He later settled in Los Angeles became active in the local art scene. He painted in a naïve or primitive style á la Grandma Moses to produce scenes of Americana, and signed his works with only his last name. He died in Los Angeles on November 4, 1991.
