We have been listing a small collection of antique, Spanish Colonial, Tin Icon Oil Paintings. Tonight we are listing two more original examples. The first Christian Icon measures Saint Mary wearing a Crown and a dress decorated with Roses. On either side is a tall painted candles. This 9 ½” by 13 ¾” Icon Painting is unusual that it has 1 3/8 tall sides with tiny holes around edges, like it was attached into something. There also some very tiny spots to the surface, but everything else is original. Measuring 10″ by 145″ the second antique Icon painting depicts The Madonna and Baby Jesus. Both are wearing crowns and are supported by clouds at the bottom. There are bends and small holes around the outside edge, plus there also are tiny marks and scratches, which you can see in the photographs. Century Icon painting is in good original condition and there are no restorations. Just like all the other antique Spanish Colonial Icons we are listing this week there is No reserve. Hand painted on stretched canvas, which was prepared in New York by Coupil & Company, this 19th century Oil Painting measures 12″ by 16″. This Folk Art Oil Painting depicts two Woodland American Indians and their canoe. Near the large tree is another figure with a fringed jacket. Unsigned, this circa 1880s, painting is in original unrestored condition. There are some specs to the sky, which I guarantee are removable with a light cleaning. Two Antique 19thC Hand Painted Folk Art Christian Icon Painting NR.. Although, the paint on the first 10″ by 13 7/8″ Tin Icon is in good condition with some light wear, the tin itself has many bends and dents. Century icon depicts a Priest giving blessing over a sick man. Around him are all his symbols like the lion, the skull and the horn of Gabriel. Measuring 10″ by 14″ this antique Tin Icon is marked Mexico on the back. I’m sure this is a much latter addition and not original. Around the edges are some bends, and the lower left hand corner is missing. There also are some spots and some dings of an early Tin Icon. Pair of Antique vintage Carved Hand painted Birds decoys, folk art

Wonderful pair of hand carved & painted birds that were found in New Hampshire. The stands appear to be newer then the birds, but make a great way to have the birds upright. The birds are apprx 8-1/2long and including the stands they are apprx. I believe at a later date, although not recently, the red paint was added. If you look at the last picture you can see what is under it. The heads are original. The pair is quite wonderful especially the one with his head turned more to the side. Very Nice Antique American Folk Art Collie Dog And Puppies Puppy Oil Painting

Wonderful 19th century American folk art oil painting on board depicting a group of collie dogs peering over a fence. The mother collie is of to the right of the painting and her puppies are beside her. The painting is very sweat and charming the dogs are full of life and personality. The painting measures 20″w x 16″h and is in good condition. Does have some roughness around the very edge of the painting that will be unnoticeable once framed but is fine just the way it is. Antique Black Americana Folk Art Carved Oak Butler Stand Ashtray Old Paint 1930s. Antique Black American Folk Art carved oak butler/ashtray stand with original old paint. It is quite well made – carved from stained Oak, with painted accents including the head, collar and shirt and vest, and hand and feet. Nice detail, including the buttons on his cuff and the back of the jacket. The paint is original and has an alligatored surface, as does much of the finish on the wood. The figure measures about 34 1/4″ tall, the base that it stand on is about 10″ square. There is a little paint missing from the forehead on one side, but overall in excellent condition. Most of my items come from Estate sales and many have imperfections. I try to describe any flaws in my listing and take lots of photos so that you can see the condition of the item. Century Primitive Box retains its original dark forest green paint. It measures 10″ long by 8″ wide by 5 1/8 tall and has small cut-nails and finally hand painted pin stripes. There is some light wear on the edges and a few small scattered marks to the finely crazed paint. Inside is nice and clean, plus it retains the original brass hardware. Antique Old Cat’s Eye Marble Reflector Unusual Sign AAFA Folk Art Paint Sign

A rare form cat’s eye sign AKA Marble reflector sign which was personalized LONG ago by a grumpy old man! Unusual road sign to begin with, made even more remarkable with the hand painted instrucitons. 18″ x 18″ with a great patina. Traces of original paint remain, as do the cat’s eyes! And the painted by hand keep out notes. I love this piece. It is HEAVY and real. Could the paint be removed? Yes, and a dealer suggested it to me. I’d leave it just as is.
