I’m pleased to offer this “Awesome”. ANTIQUE AMERICANA Framed Theorem FRUIT BASKET OIL PAINTING. It measures 17″ long X 14″ tall X 5/8 thick overall, including the frame. The cardboard mounted fabric art measures 16″ X 13″. WALL DECOR features painted stencil artwork rendered on stretched VELVET FABRIC. In still vibrant colors preserved UNDER GLASS; a long ago artist has depicted a STILL LIFE FRUIT BASKET in this simplistic, naive “theorem” art form (see images). A “period correct” painted gold CARVED WOOD FRAME is a perfect compliment to the artwork it displays! Aged patina & minor scuffs are conditions commensurate with an “antique provenance” (see images). EARLY AAFA FOLK ART ANTIQUE CARNIVAL GAMING WHEEL GAME OF CHANCE WOODEN BICYCLE WHEEL. The wheel itself is all original with some nicks and scuffs here or there. We’re guessing that this is from the early 1900’s but we don’t know. On one side it’s yellow with black letters and blue trim. On the other side, you can pretty much just see the yellow wood part. The numbers on the front side range from 1 to 120 and start with 1, 21, 41, 61, 81, and 101, then 2, 22, 42, etc. We don’t know what game this would have been but this old wheel, mounted on a bicycle rim has great character and charm! The wheel measures 31.5 across and weighs about 8.5 lbs. The bicycle wheel measures 25 across. The pins around the wheel are metal, rust, strong and even somewhat sharp if you catch them wrong. The paint on the wheel is crazed, alligator-ed, worn, scuffed, nicked, marked and patina-ed… Just the way we love it! The bicycle wheel and the spokes are rusty, crazed and scuffed. The outside rim of the bicycle wheel is wood… Which could date it from as far back 1869 when they started making bicycle wheels made from metal spokes and wooden rims. Later, the rims went to metal so it’s likely that at some point, someone took an old wheel and made this game wheel. We don’t know the age of this item but we wish it could talk! AAFA FOLK ART WOOD ANTIQUE TOTE TRAY CUT OUT HANDLES ORIGINAL RED PAINT. Up for sale is this old antique tray. It’s wood and has a handle on top to carry it by. It has original oxblood red paint with great patina! It’s a wonderful size, perfect for a table top centerpiece for the holidays! It is nailed together with old rusty nails. Inside it’s divided in to four compartments. There is a lot of edge wear, nicks, scrapes, scratches, chunks missing, and dings as you can see. All of these “issues” are just as you’d expect from an item of this age. The last picture shows where the wood has cracked along the edge of the tray. There is a small nail there to hold it and it is still sturdy. It does not detract from the item. It measures about 17″ L x 15.75″ W x 4″ H to the edge of the tray and about 6.75″ H to the top of the handle. It weighs about 6.5 lbs. 75 thick which is why it weighs so much. DOLL HOUSE ANTIQUE FOLK ART ARCHITECTURAL MODEL WOOD OOAK RED WHITE PAINT AAFA. Up for sale is this wonderful old antique Primitive architectural building / model or doll house. This is a 2-story wood house that has a hipped roof. The roof does not come off but the back of the house has an opening so you can get inside!! It has a wood exterior with white / and off-white paint, green trim and a red roof, columns and porch. The red paint is all crackled as you can see in the pictures. The white paint has a lot of patina / grunge as you can also see in the pictures. There are two windows on the front upstairs and one window and a door under the shed roof porch. There are also four windows on right side of the house and none on the left side of the house. On the front, the floor of the porch is the same nice oxblood red color. The windows are simple, Primitive, Craftsman-style windows with green frames. The back of the house is open for easy access as you can see in the pictures. When you look inside, you can see wires and sockets for light bulbs. We don’t know what this would have been used for, perhaps a train set? We don’t know if the lights work or not. You can also see a little stair inside from the first to the second floor. Inside the house its all open. The house does have a lot of edgewear, scrapes, chips, crackle, alligatoring, nicks, grunge, fading here and there, scuffs and chips! The edge of the roof has some dings at the corners as you can see in the pictures. The house measures 23.5″ D x 15.5″ W x 21.5 H. Thank you for looking at this item. AMAZING AAFA ANTIQUE EARLY 1800’S ORIGINAL PAINT PRIMITIVE RED WOOD CABINET. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive one-door cabinet. It’s a nice sized cabinet with one drawer and one door. It’s a wonderful Primitive red color with a wood back. The red is a nice Primitive, but brighter red with one shelf inside. Please see photos for the best description and accuracy. 24 w at top and 22.5 w at cabinet x. 15 d at top and 14.25 w at cabinet. X 28.5 h to flat part and 32.5 h to the top of the backsplash. The paint appears to be all original and is worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn, carved in and patina-ed! This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! It has a big wood mushroom handle on the drawer and a grungy porcelain knob on a metal escutcheon on the door. The top is very worn and was heavily used. On the right side near the front, someone carved their name in the cabinet. There is a backsplash on the top which makes this a bit unusual. The drawer is dovetailed and the and the door has Shaker style hinges. We don’t know the age of this little cabinet but we’d guess that it’s from the early 1900’s based on the construction and hardware. We’re not sure so you be the judge. Underneath there’s a good sized mouse as you can see in the picture of it laying down. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. This early 1900s cedar? Wood carving with original polychrome under shiny age-darkened varnish measures 5 7/8 tall and depicts a bow-legged man with plaid shirt, big feet and exaggerated African American features. As the images show, the figure has desirable old surface and color and silver paint on the neck where it appears to have been glued back on. This shelf weighs 3.8 pounds and measures 13″ tall by 11 and 1/2″ wide by 9 and 1/2 deep. There is some minor wear present however there are no breaks or repairs. The details throughout are amazing. Antique Folk Art horse pull toy ca. Stands 19 1/8 tall as seen. Weighs about 11 pounds. Horse alone is 16 7/8 tall, 20 1/2 long, about 5 wide. Base is 8 3/4 wide, 20 3/4 long and 1 thick. Very fine late 19th century carved wood horse pull toy. Original leather saddle , missing stirrups. Most of the reins are also missing but still has. Four metal tacks and a leather strip behind the ears. Original black finish accentuated with white at the ankles and face. Plus a yellow outline around the saddle. Has a beautifully carved flowing mane on the right side. Real horse hair tail. Base is a single piece of 1 thick oak with cut outs for the four wooded wheels. It has a small remnant of the leather pull at the front. A few minor scuffs. Tip of its left ear was broke off and glued back on. More photos on request. Found in central Iowa. This will be carefully packed in a large box. Measuring roughly 15″ x 26″ x 26.
