AAFA FOLK ART SINGLE SIDED GAME CHECKER BOARD RED BLACK PAINT GREAT COLOR. Up for sale is this old hand-painted checker / game board. It has a great folk art feel to it! The board is a dark red with black squares and trim and there is paint loss, edgewear and handwear. The game is on what might be a masonite board with a wood frame as we hope you can see in the pictures. There’s a warp in the board as it goes over the board in the middle of the back. We tried to show the warp in the pictures so please look at them closely. We don’t know when the game was painted on but it looks old to us. It’s got great colors! It measures 28.75″ L x 19.5″ W x 1.25 thick. It weighs about 4 lbs. As mentioned, there’s some paint loss, nicks, scrapes, scratches, worn edges, deteriorated wood, and dings. All of these “issues” are just as you’d expect from an item of this age… It’s still just a neat old board!!! Thank you for looking at this item.
