Vintage original watercolor painting dating to 1985, on cold pressed watercolor paper, with the paper maker’s watermark of J. Paper is cotton, handmade. Painting is full plate, untrimmed, and is complete as artist signed on back and that is the artist’s long hand writing. Condition is very good with NO holes, NO odors, NO repairs. The back has some slight soiling is not considered ” clean ” per say. The front is clean, When held up to a bright light, there is NO damage. Overall size is approximately 11 inches by 15 inches, including blank margins.. One edge is deckled. The artist is F. Gesley, which is definitely signature of artist. The painting is from an estate in Creswell Oregon. I wrote the artist’s name and provenance on back. Beyond that, I have NO other information. Gorgeous primitive scene of a lovely marsh lake on a blue sky summer day with a man and woman fishing in their green wooden boat.
