This toy measures 14 3/4″ long x 10″ deep x 11 1/2 tall. Above the door is stenciled ” LITTLE FOLKS AT HOME”. I believe this toy dates to around 1880. The glass in the windows are replacements. The paint is all original. I believe the photographs give an accurate read as to the condition of this extremely rare toy. I’m not certain that this is a George Brown piece…. I Love this toy…. Great Frame, great price!! Late 1800s Looking Glass. Very tight & solid. Original hangar loop is missing. Size: 5.5″ X 7″. 1900s Apothecary in original brown paint. Comes from Salem Mass. All wood except for the drawer bottoms which are tin. All drawers have brass pulls and are numbered as is the wooden base.
