ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE AAFA FOLK ART WALL SHELF RACK ORIGINAL BLUE PAINT SCALLOPED. The cabinet measures: 17 W x 26 H x 8 D. Up for sale is this wonderfully folky wall shelf. It’s a wonderful Primitive blue color. It appears to be all original paint. We don’t know the age of this little shelf. The paint is patina-ed, worn, aged, edge worn and dry, rusty, scuffed and marked. It has wood undertones and iron markings as you can see in the pictures. There are a couple of holes in the back where the cabinet was hung on the wall. There are nails throughout the cabinet and they are old and rusty and most of them are small and appear round. From the nail holes there are dark rust stains and rusty colored runs. There are nicks, dings, edge wear, and chips but nothing you wouldn’t expect. It’s so cute! Knicks , scuffs, worn paint , separation in wood (see pic) old tiny nails. Appears it was made from old scrap wood by looking at the back with traces of old white paint on it. Antique Blue Painted Carpenters Tool Chest Named Folk Art Coffee Table. Measures 37 X 20 X 18 and is painted blue. Has a name in yellow on the front I cant make it out tho- looks like L. Has normal usage wear mainly to the lid but this is very old and was used. There is a split in the bottom and there seems to be an extra piece of wood nailed to the inside of the lid. Good solid shape, nice antique piece. Came from a local estate, comes as seen in photos. Up for sale is this Super Old Blue Paint Country Folk Art Wooden Tool Carrier Inv#JA01. This beautifully handcrafted carpenters tool box was made by the owner in early 1950’s. Note the exquisite old blue paint that adorns this piece. From age and wear the paint has flaked and crazed at areas giving forth a lovely original appearance and patina (you cannot duplicate this). T It has some white paint splatters (see side photo). It measures 25″ x 16″ x 9. It weighs 10.7lbs unboxed. Th ere is a small slotted piece of wood on the end that was used to stabilize saw blades. It has a beautiful carved handle and small slots for tools. There are rusted screws and nails that are there from day one. Still strong and tight. It has some nicks, dings and wear as would be expected for a toolbox that was used everyday in the life of… (see all photo close-ups). This would be a great addition to your country collection with lots of history to pass on to the next generation. AAFA LARGE BLUE EARLY 1800s Folk Art Antique Shaker Oval Pantry Box Paint

1800s Large Shaker 4 finger oval bentwood pantry box in original blue paint. It is made of maple and pine with tack and peg construction. Condition: Box is the one of the oldest I’ve seen, as long ago, some of the wooden pegs were replaced by snip nails, and they have rusted out over the years as well leaving dark holes. There are splits/chips around. All that being said the box is solid as a rock, and very tight… The interior is clean and very smooth over many years of use. 11.5″ X 8″ X 5 Tall. Aafa Antique Folk Art Blue Paint Wood Wheelbarrow Garden Primitive Square Nails

AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART BLUE PAINT WOOD WHEELBARROW GARDEN PRIMITIVE SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful old wheelbarrow. We don’t know the age or its origin, but it looks old to us. It’s so cute! It’s an old Federal blue that’s faded and worn. There’s also a little faded red trim / paint on the sides as you can see in the pictures. There’s a little decal on each side that was probably added later and is fairly well worn. It looks like an Indian to us. It measures 35 long x 12 wide at handles x 10.5 wide at front of the barrow and. High at highest point. I t’s been well used and loved over the years. The handles are worn, the sides have some scrapes, paint loss and wear. The inside shows some light grunge and use. The front axle looks a little crooked but it still rolls nicely. The wheel is black. The paint appears to be all original and is worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor like this! Early Aafa Antique Folk Art Cabinet Cupboard Square Nails Orig Blue Paint Repair

EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART CABINET CUPBOARD SQUARE NAILS ORIG BLUE PAINT REPAIR. Up for sale is this fabulous old primitive cabinet or cupboard. It’s a nice old cupboard with wonderful color. It’s a two-door cabinet with three shelves inside. We don’t know how old it is, but it looks early 1800’s to us! The cabinet is a beautiful worn, chipped and patina-ed Federal blue. The cabinet measures 64.5″ W (without top trim) x 48.75″ H (with top trim) x 17.75 D (without top trim). This old cabinet is a survivor. The back is made from thirteen tongue and groove boards as you can see in the pictures. There are big square nails along with other, smaller square nails, and some round nails too. You can see the iron spotting from the nails on the wood. There’s also a couple of repairs on the lower right along with rough wood as you can see in the pictures. It’s a wonderful dry wood and is a beautiful blue in color with old worn paint. The paint appears to be all original on the front and right side (the right side is mostly painted but some wood only). The left side is just wood (no paint) as you can see in the pictures. The right side has the top trim while the left side does not. The left side may be where it was built in since it is unpainted. The back is not painted. The paint is dry, worn, alligatored, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, faded, edge. On the front, in the middle, the board there is loose and has a mouse hole in it. You could probably add a nail to fix that up. The hardware is old and the knobs are nicely detailed. You twist the knobs to release them from their catches. The left knob does not “spring back” as much as the one on the right does as it’s likely a bit more worn. The top is a darker brown color and has some cracks in the wood as shown in the pictures. The inside looks all original with great patina too! There are ring marks, stains, worn areas and lighter areas. You can see the repair at the bottom in the middle where a board was added. There is also a metal repair on the left side on the middle shelf. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! We don’t know the age or origin of this cabinet but we do know that it’s special! Please see photos for accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close-up ones. It’s a great old cabinet/cupboard!! We can also recommend a couple of shippers. This is a great cabinet! Aafa Folk Art Antique Primitive Bucket Bench Wood Old Blue Paint Square Nails

AAFA FOLK ART ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE BUCKET BENCH WOOD OLD BLUE PAINT SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful one of a kind bucket bench. It’s old, it’s adorable and it’s a wonderful painted blue color with soft green undertones and lots of age and patina! There are two shelves that are nailed into the sides of the bucket bench as you can see in the pictures. The shelves are in good condition but the top shelf has a portion of wood missing, likely where a knot was, in the middle-left-center as you can see in the pictures. The right side of the top shelf has a small crack in it and on the left side one of the nails created a chip in the shelf and the chip is still there. We took a close-up of that area for you. The whole bucket bench is in good condition considering its age. The bucket bench measures 38″ W x 29-7/8″ H x 12-5/8 D (with the back board). The wood is almost exactly 1 thick, just slightly less. The sides both have cracks in them but they are still sturdy and have not split. The sides at the bottom have a nice rounded scalloped / bootjack to them and top edge is radiused. The back boards have circular saw marks as you can see in the pictures. There are a couple of places where the nails split the wood. There are mostly old square nails as you can see, but there are also some gnarly looking rusty old round nails. This is truly a one-of-a-kind item. We don’t know the age of this item but we think it’s from the 1800’s but you make the call. There are nicks, scrapes, small cracks, edge wear. Loss, paint, fading, dings and worn paint as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. We will do our best to answer your questions.
