AAFA ANTIQUE EARLY FOLK ART 1800s DRY PAINT RED WHITE DRY SINK PORCELAIN. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive dry sink that has been converted and is now a working porcelain / cast iron sink. It’s a petite sized one-door cabinet with the porcelain sink made to fit in to it. Wow, we’ve never seen another one like this!! It’s a wonderful red color with paint loss and patina. The cabinet measures 30.25″ W x 18″ D x 27.5 H. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! On the front there’s an old slide latch and catch along with. Shaker style hinges on the door. The entire cabinet is made out of tongue and groove boards. It’s an old dry sink. We don’t know the age of it but it looks late 1800’s to us with the addition of the porcelain / cast iron insert. On the back, there are a lot of old rusty nails as you can see in the pictures. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. Rare Aafa Antique Folk Art Early 1800 Paint Yellow Blue Primitive Wood Dry Sink

AMAZING AAFA 1800’S ORIGINAL PAINT YELLOW BLUE EARLY PRIMITIVE WOOD DRY SINK. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive dry sink. It’s a nice sized two door cabinet with a shelf inside. It’s a wonderful dry, soft yellow color with blue and wood undertones. There is paint coming through the yellow paint. There is a wonderful blue paint on the inside of the doors which may indicate that the entire cabinet. May have been blue at one point and the outside yellow was the secondary color. Please see photos for the best description and accuracy. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! There are also some cracks in the wood from age. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! It’s an old dry sink and you can see that there’s even a drain / hole on the right side in the back. We took a close up picture of this. The doors open and the left door has a metal latch and loop to hold it shut. You could leave the doors open and display crocks, or firkins or other wonderful items. There are a lot of old rusty nails as you can see in the pictures. Also, there’s a crack in the left side that starts at the top but is still sturdy and strong. The paint has some edge wear, scrapes, patina, fading, variation of color, wood showing through, chipping and nicks. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It’s a great old cabinet / cupboard!! The cabinet measures 41.5 W x 18.5″ D x 29.75″ H. Doll House Antique Folk Art Architectural Model Wood Ooak Red White Paint Aafa

DOLL HOUSE ANTIQUE FOLK ART ARCHITECTURAL MODEL WOOD OOAK RED WHITE PAINT AAFA. Up for sale is this wonderful old antique Primitive architectural building / model or doll house. This is a 2-story wood house that has a gable roof. The roof does not come off but the back of the house has a big opening so you can get inside!! It has a wood exterior with off-white paint, green trim and a red roof, columns and porch. The white paint has a lot of patina / grunge as you can also see in the pictures. There are three windows on the front upstairs and two windows and a door under the shed roof porch. There are also two windows on right side of the house and two on the left side of the house. There is no glass in any of the windows. The windows are simple, Primitive, Craftsman-style windows with green frames. The back of the house has a big opening for easy access as you can see in the pictures. When you look inside, you can see the lace curtains and little green shades on the windows. A couple of the shades have cracks in them like the one at the attic / dormer window. You can also see that the front door opens on hinges. Inside the house its all open. The house does have some edgewear, scrapes, chips, crackle, alligatoring, nicks, grunge, fading here and there, scuffs and chips! The roof has some dings at the corners and edges as you can see in the pictures. The house measures 17.25″ D (with the porch) x 11.75″ W x 24.75 H (not including the chimney). Along with the house, there are a few accessories. First there’s a little set of stairs off the front porch. There is also a little storm shelter door which we show on the left side, but could be put anywhere. There’s also a little green bench and three wood Primitive style chairs. Aafa Antique Folk Art Cabinet Cupboard Old Pumpkin Blue Red Paint Rosehead Nail

AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART CABINET CUPBOARD ORIGINAL PUMPKIN PAINT ROSEHEAD NAILS. Up for sale is this fabulous old primitive cabinet or cupboard. It’s a nice old two-door cabinet with shelves inside. We don’t know how old it is, but it looks early 1800’s to us! The cabinet has beautiful dry chippy pumpkin paint with red. Blueish-grey undertones showing through. This old cabinet is a survivor. The back is made from tongue and groove slats as you can see in the pictures. The back has various rusty nails in it including some gnarly looking square? Nails that we call roseheads, where they look all blistered or something. There’s a mouse hole on the back near the upper right. The cabinet doors have strap style hinges with slotted screws. The hinges look to be the original hinges as we don’t see any place else where hinges were. The front doors are that blue color on the inside and have horizontal braces that have nails coming through from the face of the doors and then are bent over on the inside of the door. The doors work nicely and there’s a little wooden. To hold the right doors shut. We don’t know if the. Is original as there’s a spot above where it looks like another one may have been at some point. It’s a wonderful dry wood and is predominantly the pumpkin color with old worn paint. The paint appears to be very old and of course is at least the third coat, being that you can see blue and red coats also. Scrapes, patina, fading, and is dry, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, flaked, nicked, edge-worn. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! We don’t know the age or origin of this cabinet but we do know that it’s special!! It leans a little to the left and has some pads under the left side to help it. You might need to shim it depending on your floor and your tolerance for things being not straight completely. If you love the cabinet, you know they’re not perfect. Early Aafa Folk Art Antique Original Hand Painted Mustard Wall Cabinet Wood

EARLY AAFA FOLK ART ANTIQUE ORIGINAL HAND PAINTED MUSTARD WALL CABINET WOOD. Up for sale is this wonderful single door wall cabinet. It’s all hand painted in a deep mustard color and has tremendous patina, crackling and wear. The cabinet measures 24.25″ high to the top and 20.5″ wide at the top. 5 wide at the cabinet. Deep at trim and 8. Oor is 15″ wide and 19.75″ high. On the front it has a little twist latch and catch. That’s been painted over. The hinges are Shaker style hinges as you can see from the pictures. There are some holes on the front where there may have been other hinges at some other time, we’re not sure as there are only two holes in the cabinet for the top pair and there are no other holes on the door. We’d not sure what that’s about. It has a cute little scalloped dental / crown moulding at the top. Inside there are two shelves. The back is made from four tongue and groove boards. The top two were painted and are chipping. The bottom two are not painted as you can see. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, faded, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn, alligator-ed and patina-ed! Underneath the mustard color you can see a lighter, cream color. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! Please see photos for accurate detail and description. Early Aafa Folk Art Antique Wood Carnival Game Wheel Bicycle Original Paint

EARLY AAFA FOLK ART ANTIQUE CARNIVAL GAMING WHEEL GAME OF CHANCE WOODEN BICYCLE WHEEL. The wheel itself is all original with some nicks and scuffs here or there. We’re guessing that this is from the early 1900’s but we don’t know. On one side it’s yellow with black letters and blue trim. On the other side, you can pretty much just see the yellow wood part. The numbers on the front side range from 1 to 120 and start with 1, 21, 41, 61, 81, and 101, then 2, 22, 42, etc. We don’t know what game this would have been but this old wheel, mounted on a bicycle rim has great character and charm! The wheel measures 31.5 across and weighs about 8.5 lbs. The bicycle wheel measures 25 across. The pins around the wheel are metal, rust, strong and even somewhat sharp if you catch them wrong. The paint on the wheel is crazed, alligator-ed, worn, scuffed, nicked, marked and patina-ed… Just the way we love it! The bicycle wheel and the spokes are rusty, crazed and scuffed. The outside rim of the bicycle wheel is wood… Which could date it from as far back 1869 when they started making bicycle wheels made from metal spokes and wooden rims. Later, the rims went to metal so it’s likely that at some point, someone took an old wheel and made this game wheel. We don’t know the age of this item but we wish it could talk! Folk art hall tree / painted wood, repurposed materials / Maine / c. Whimsical antique painted folk art hall tree in green and gold, Maine, c. The piece is composed of a back board cut from a single plank in an eccentric silhouette onto which found and repurposed elements were attached to fashion a hat and coat rack. The radiating turned arms originate from a late 18th or early 19th century yarn winder or spinning wheel, as do the capped dowel hooks and turned feet. At its waist is mounted a mysterious birdhouse-like box with a indicator intended to spin, its purpose unknown perhaps a conveniently-placed penny bank if change remained in your coat pocket? The hall tree is painted a brilliant emerald green with gold stencil embellishments and borders. A fun and playful piece of folk art furniture to brighten your entryway, equally at home in traditional and modern environments. Very good antique condition. The spinning wheel arm hooks are attached at the hub with the original iron bolt and are secured by an additional screw or two and the back (as seen in the photos).
