My Husband, daughter and I were sitting on our deck when a flurry of activity in the sky started. We watched in amazement as an image of a dog? Appeared in the sky. What is so strange the image looks like my dog Chauncey who only moments before had burned up the yard running in circles. We were amazed at what we saw. I decided to paint a picture based on the image. As I painted it came to me that we are in strange and serious times. Although the Bible warns us of this, we don’t seem to believe it or understand it. God reaches out to us in all sorts of ways but it can be too supernatural for us to accept. In this painting, I think about the many times I sit and talk to my dog but he only opens his mouth wide and let’s out a “yip”. But when he wants to communicate with me he bumps my leg and walks to the door to go outside. Successful communication, message sent, understood and received/accepted. I believe we need to look up and listen to what God is communicating to us.

Bodacious was known as the most dangerous bull ever, being called The Master Of Disaster. The legendary Lane Frost’s best friend, Tuff Hedeman, was one of the only few men who made 8 seconds on Bodacious! Bodacious had an untimely death in 2000 from complications of medication taken for a cut on his hoof. To this day his owner still mourns Bodacious’ death. He said he was like a puppy outside of the rodeo. What a beautiful bull he was, and massive at almost 2000 lbs. What a great addition to a western room, a Mexican restaurant, or your own unique setting.
