Low mountains fills the background with slight a slight portion of the setting sun visible casting some inhibited orange hues. This painting is unsigned and well executed for a presumably self taught artist. The painting is executed in oil on artist board measuring 12.5 x 21 inches while the original gold gesso wood frame measures 17.75 x 26.75 inches. The condition of the painting shows some surface abrasions and minor loss while the frame also shows some gesso loss and minimal looseness at the corner joinings.
