Ernest is known for painting whimsical chickens with acrylic on scrap wood that is often irregularly shaped, warped, or broken. He has been painting since age 5, and is known to sell his paintings from his colorful truck trailer (and studio) in vacant lots around the Columbia, South Carolina area.
