The board has a wood frame around it with the game board in the middle. The game board has black (slightly dark blue tint in places) squares with reddish / salmon colored squares. The checkerboard has worn edges, paint loss, fading, separation, surface cracks and hand wear. The board is an 8 x 8 game field. It appears to be made from one large piece of wood. It measures 15″ L x 15″ W and is about 1 thick at the edges. The back side is a game board also. That side has a Parcheesi? Board painted on it with the some. Green area gaming sections. This side also has worn edges, scrapes, round indentations on the surface, paint loss and hand wear. This is a very nice double-sided game board!! As mentioned, there’s some edge wear, paint loss, nicks, scrapes, splatters, scratches and dings. There are also some areas where the surface of the board has lifted a little. All of these “issues” are just as you’d expect from and item of this age… It’s still just fabulous!!! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item.
