1990s Four Folk Art Hand Carved & Painted Wood Pigeon Decoys 2 Signed Tom Harman

For sale are 4 hand carved & painted wooden pigeon decoys. Two decoys are signed, I can’t make out one signature (looks like Tom Harman), but the other has “Tom Harman, 1994″. I assume since they all look like they were carved by the same person, Tom Harman carved them. All of the decoys show wear from age with paint chipping. Two decoys have rings around the necks from separation. Two of the decoys are mounted on wooden stands, and two decoys have the stand missing with the stand broken off in the hole. Listed for your consideration is a beautiful vintage/antique wood and wire bird cage with a dome style top, spring door on the front and a hinged bottom for cleaning. The cage is 16″ tall, 7 1/8″ wide, and 7 1/8 deep. This masterpiece has been tastefully hand painted by a very talented individual.. Unfortunately the person did not sign it. It truly is a work of art featuring beautiful flowers, butterflies and birdhouses all around its perimeter. The hinged bottom also appears to have been recently replaced. Also included is a nice arch style pivoting wall mount hanger to display the cage. It comes to you in as found, as is condition. Might use a delicate cleaning. Aafa Early Antique Folk Art Original Blue Painted Wood Pantry Box

AAFA EARLY ANTIQUE FOLK ART ORIGINAL BLUE PAINTED WOOD PANTRY BOX. Up for sale is this beautiful 19th Century Early pantry box. We love the old Early paint and great patina on this little pantry box. It’s round and has a round lid. The top has a few small pieces of wood missing on the lid as you can see in the pictures. There is also a split on the inside where the band comes together as shown in the photos – not hard to fix. There is also edge wear/paint loss around the whole pantry box where the lid sits. It should look like this if it is original! The color is a polychrome blue, more of a vibrant blue. This was a hard paint/color to get right in the pictures. It is not purple or dark blue – more vibrant. The banding is square-ended and has little round-headed nails in it as well as into the side of the pantry box at the seam. It has some age and wear, wood loss, paint loss, dents, and scratches but is still solid. It measures 10.25″ in diameter at the lid and about 5.125″ high with the lid on. It weighs about 1.5 lbs.
