Aafa Folk Art Antique Primitive Bucket Bench Wood Original Blue Paint Mortised

AAFA FOLK ART ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE BUCKET BENCH WOOD ORIGINAL BLUE PAINT MORTISED. Up for sale is this wonderful one of a kind bucket bench. It’s old, and it has a very slight wobble from side to side, but it’s adorable and nice painted blue color with lots of age and patina! The shelves are mortised into the sides of the bucket bench as you can see in the pictures. The shelves are aged as you can see and the wood has wear, thin cracks, paint loss and patina on them. The sides have a nice scalloped top to them and the bottoms have whale tail boot jack style bases. On the right side leg the wood has worn away and through the paint in one spot. We don’t what this is from but it’s scratched through the paint layer and is in to the wood layer. This is truly a one-of-a-kind item! The bucket bench measures. 53 H in back x 39.5 W x 10 D. We don’t know the age of this item. There are nicks, scrapes, small cracks, edge wear, paint loss, paint drips, fading, dings and worn paint as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. Very large Antique Hanging Decorative Wood Mask Face from Mexico. The vintage mask belonged to a lady who traveled throughout Mexico in the 60’s- 1970’s. This is a vintage wooden Mexican ceremonial dance mask. The mask was hand carved from one piece of wood and hand painted by hand. The colors are still vivid. The artisan carved a. Two lizards and an. These masks and sculptures were used as part of traditional dance ceremonies used to pray for fertility, farming, and protection of the community, a tradition extending back thousands of years and a well-established part of ritual life in Mexico when the Spanish arrived. The bottom of the trunk is not painted and the wood looks like it is White Eastern Pine. The rest of the trunk is all painted. The Painting has wear through out. There are small nicks and scratchs. Rare Aafa Antique Folk Art Early 1800 Paint Yellow Blue Primitive Wood Dry Sink

AMAZING AAFA 1800’S ORIGINAL PAINT YELLOW BLUE EARLY PRIMITIVE WOOD DRY SINK. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive dry sink. It’s a nice sized two door cabinet with a shelf inside. It’s a wonderful dry, soft yellow color with blue and wood undertones. There is paint coming through the yellow paint. There is a wonderful blue paint on the inside of the doors which may indicate that the entire cabinet. May have been blue at one point and the outside yellow was the secondary color. Please see photos for the best description and accuracy. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! There are also some cracks in the wood from age. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! It’s an old dry sink and you can see that there’s even a drain / hole on the right side in the back. We took a close up picture of this. The doors open and the left door has a metal latch and loop to hold it shut. You could leave the doors open and display crocks, or firkins or other wonderful items. There are a lot of old rusty nails as you can see in the pictures. Also, there’s a crack in the left side that starts at the top but is still sturdy and strong. The paint has some edge wear, scrapes, patina, fading, variation of color, wood showing through, chipping and nicks. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It’s a great old cabinet / cupboard!! The cabinet measures 41.5 W x 18.5″ D x 29.75″ H. The well inside measures 40″ W x 17″ D x 4.75 H. This is a great dry sink! Please look at the photos for a more accurate description and detail and ask lots of questions if needed.
