Including the rose, a spray of flowers, a bird, the circle motif, the “HOPE” poem. And of course, the date of jan 24th 1824…. Just before valentine’s day…. Perhaps, this handwork could be from a girl’s school as an exercise of penmanship/calligraphy…. Similar to a schoolgirl sampler….
