15 inch Folk Art Painted Carnival Gaming Gambling Wheel. Today we have this nice old beautiful hand painted Folk Art Gaming Wheel. This displays the original paint and is not painted over. This has a “Reversible Wheel” – The front side displays numbers 1 through 24 and the back side displays numbers 1 through 12. This piece comes from an estate that had many antiques, mid-century and other highly collectible items. Check out the photos! Condition: Folks I did not clean this piece up other than lightly dusting it off – Opting to leave that task to the new owners discretion. The plastic clicker has a couple of other holes in it, but I can only speculate they were for adjusting the spin or number of turns the wheel would make. The arm that holds the clicker is tight and strong and displays some surface rust on the 3 mounting screw heads and the small screw and nut that clamp the plastic clicker. There is some surface rust on the center metal wheel in a few areas. The points/pegs are made of metal and display a very light surface rust also and some of them are slightly bent – Another task I will leave to the new owner. The wood is 3/4 thick secure and strong and appears to be plywood and displays great color. A couple of nicks on the wood edges, but again a structurally solid wheel! The wheel spins smoothly and also true without any noted wobble. The wood mounting board is also very good and structurally sound. There are 2 holes where it was previously mounted and these same holes can be re-used again. See ALL the Photos in their ENLARGED state, submit questions and request any additional photos you desire!
