This is a painting i recently completed. It has a mood of its own going on. I have been painting my whole life and love doing studies like this one of modern mermaids and fish. Art must speak to the soul. No frame is needed sides are solid black. This is on stretched canvas andmeasures 16” by 20” and has my monogram on back. Sorry i do have a bad camera, painting tons better than image, happy 2023 to all. I do have a terrible camera but you get the idea. Great looking is out of a fine estate collection.. I will be listing more LOTS from this estate. Must pay within 3 days of end of sale date.

Interesting -Vintage mid 1960s (I believe) painting on wood -This painting is double sided and is actually two paintings -The painting is designed to be a 3-D sculpture as well with depth –The old woman in the blue robe. The painting is large and heavy it weighs approx. And at its tallest it is approx. 30-1/4 inches X 17 wide by at its thickest 4 inches. What’s wrong with it? Painting is in pretty good condition some minor paint loose and crackling, scuffs, nicks, chips, dents and scratches and could use a good cleaning as well. English School Folk Art Watercolour – Portrait of a Boy with a Hoop & Stick. This delightfully naive Georgian portrait depicts a boy in dark blue overalls and a ruffled collar, holding a rolling hoop and stick, a popular children’s game of the period. 1820, the child is shown in profile within a grassy landscape. Handsomely presented in a 19th century reeded gilt frame and oval card mount. In very good condition overall, with remarkable colour retention. There is some light discolouration to the paper. The antique frame has some scuffing and marks, with a fine patina of age. Size: 8.5 x 7cm (3.3″ x 2.8″). Framed Size: 20.5 x 17cm (8.1″ x 6.7″). Includes a Certificate of Authenticity. This large folk art-style original painting on canvas is inspired by “Sark” after Edwin Douglas. This scroll painting, we are told, was hung in a hall in a Masonic temple when ladies were using the space, then packed away the rest of the time. 52″H x 44.5″W. Painting creased and scuffed in a few areas; wood scroll framing dinged and scratched in areas. Please view and enlarge all images, which are included as part of this item’s condition description.
