Antique American Southwest Folk Art Double Sided Painting Indians Deer Hunter
This painting is out of a mansion that was previously located in Little Italy, Omaha, Nebraska, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Omaha. It measures 48 inches wide by 36 inches tall. This is a double sided painting, someone painted on an old sign. There is a steel sign underneath here at one point in time I was able to read the writing on the sign of who manufactured the sign, but I couldn’t find it as I was looking through this time but I know it’s on there. It could be an old Pepsi sign or Dr Pepper sign or whatever so there’s three pieces here there’s a sign underneath the painting that’s unknown there’s a side that has the Indians on the mountain overlooking a horse caravan down below, and on the opposite side is a painting of a deer hunter getting ready to shoot a deer up creek from him, there is some paint that’s missing as seen that is fell off on one side and on the side where the Indian is at it kind of has rust bleeding through. I’m guessing this painting is from the early 1900s there is a signature on both sides one side I cannot read the other side is somewhat eligible, but I do not know who the artist is, I’m not into collecting folk art, but this is a beautiful piece regardless, if somebody painted it or somebody else just painted it, I really don’t know it would be an excellent piece to display. If you’re collecting this type of artwork, please message me with any questions as you can see I took pictures of the frame looks like somebody made the frame. The corners are a little bit loose, the metal is held in by nails as seen on the back again this is a very nice piece of folk at its finest.

” 2 ways 2 paradise “. Acrylic on cardboard box. 4″ tall by 12.5″ wide by 2-1/2 deep. Warning: actual color of original painting may be different due to variations of screen settings and the fact the artist is color impaired. E9Art (aka eric) has been a typesetter, tire changer, the coffee dude, that pizza guy, and a full-time artist. Eric didn’t’discover’ art until he was in his 50s, partially due to the idea that he couldn’t be an artist being colorblind, and partially that he was raised in an environment where art was considered a waste of time because’art doesn’t put food on the table. Since his first art sale in 2014, he has been making up for lost time. E9art can be found on twitter, facebook, pinterest and tumblr. Eric’s home and studio can be found in his hometown of Walton, NY.

Large Folk Art Oil on Canvas Landscape Painting with Deer Rocky Mountains
Large Folk Art Oil on Canvas Landscape Painting w/ Deer Rocky Mountains. Charming old painting with a wonderful color palette and sweet subject matter in great condition for age. One little hole as shown in photos. No signature that I have found but light pencil inscription on stretcher which is barely legible. I believe it reads that the painting is of the Rocky Mountains, painted at 19 years old and is to be left to someone upon the artist’s passing. Very hard to read so I could be off, but a fun little detail either way. Gorgeous embellished frame with minimal loss. Please use photos and zoom feature for most accurate condition and be sure to check my other listings for more great old paintings. Measures 26″ by 33.5″. Please get them approved before purchasing. Any questions must be answered before the sale. Almost everything I offer is old and has likely spent time in a basement or garage. I do my best to get back to everyone in a timely fashion. If you don’t hear a response within 48 hours please ask question again! Also, make sure to check my other listings for more great vintage finds- I will certainly do my best to work with you if you are purchasing multiple items. I love old things so I’m always hunting through auctions, flea markets & yard sales for the ultimate score. I often buyout entire estates, which is why I have such varied offerings. I love bringing the old and unique back to market & I’m constantly adding inventory so please check back often. You never know what I’ll find next!

How about that little fawn! Such a beautiful painting of the Redwood National Park! Listed artist: John Alfred Coultrup b. Medium: oil on board (Upson). Region: Redwood National Park. Dates: painting is not dated-exact age unknown. Probably 40’s or older. Signed: front lower left (foreground). Measures: 19″ x 26″ Framed: 21.5″ x 28.5″. Condition: There is a heavy scratch mark on the right side middle ground area. Tiny paint flecks, paint chips, very small dings to board, various other scuffs marks, scratches, all 4 sides of margins have frame abrasion with paint loss. Slight bowing to board! Painting could use better/more reinforcement to frame. Back ground on left side top has 2 possible larger areas of paint loss-this could be just the white paint behind trees but unsure. Painting needs mild restoration and or touch up. For as old as the painting is, it is in rather decent condition. Most areas of concern are mild but visible. Still worthy of hanging right away. Restoration is by choice. In overall good condition. Period frame condition: Multiple dings, small chips, paint loss, dust pockets, paint loss, cracks to corners, abrasions, scuffs and scratches. Fair condition but needs some tlc/repair. This item is in the category “Art\Paintings”. The seller is “jmscreativedecor” and is located in this country: US. This item can be shipped to United States.

NEVER be afraid to make an offer! Pretty folk art oil painting signed by Kentucky artist Lola Joiner. I believe this is a very early work of hers as it’s on board rather than canvas and cannot be found in a print version as well as looking less refined in style than her more recent pieces. Her earlier pieces were painted on board. It does have some scrapes on the surface, but they do not involve the paint – it looks more like if it were cleaned up and sealed varnish, acrylic spray sealer??? That they would literally disappear. Looks like these scrapes/rubs are on whatever it was sealed with by the artist. Not cleaning it up, you’re getting it as found in the old farmhouse, dust and all. Painting is 16″ tall and 20″ wide without the frame. I’ve included super large photos so you can zoom in on them to see these areas of scraped/rubbed sealer, they do show because of how I made sure bright light are directed on them, but they’re not really noticeable when just looking at it hanging on the wall. Please see my other items for more neat stuff! A blue shirt in a size 12 and I send a red dress….. You get the idea! The item “Appalachian Landscape Deer Oil Painting SIGNED LOLA JOINER KENTUCKY ARTIST” is in sale since Wednesday, June 21, 2017. This item is in the category “Art\Paintings”. The seller is “indianaslone” and is located in Osgood, Indiana.
