AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART PRIMITIVE PULL TOY WOOD HORSE ORIGINAL HAND PAINTED BLACK. Up for sale is this wonderful wooden toy horse. He’s fully painted. His body is a black color while his saddle blanket is a grey linen backed material. He has a dark red, dry leather? Harness and hand painted red bridle, white eyes and red nostrils. He has a patch of white where his mane was and a little white thing for a tail. He’s in OK condition and has some scrapes, paint loss, nicks and wear. His ears are a little dinged up and one ear is missing a piece of wood. He’s on a pull toy base with iron wheels that are inside the wood. This makes him pretty old. His base is a wood base with red filigree trim. The wheels are black. He’s a cute horse with a great attitude!! As you’d expect, there are scuffs and paint loss, nicks, dings, edge wear, smudges and patina! He measures 10.25″ long x 3.75″ wide (at the base). The base is 1.75″ H and the horse, on the base is 10″ H. He’s 8 L. We will do our best to answer your questions. Note: We have placed this item in a large box so he will reach you safely. ANTIQUE FOLK ART 42 CUBBY WOOD APOTHECARY ORIGINAL BLACK PAINT STORE DISPLAY. Up for sale is this wonderful 42 drawer / cubby apothecary style cabinet. The color is a painted black on the cubby faces and the cabinet sides and top are natural wood color as are the interiors of the cubbies. It makes it very nice looking. It’s a big piece! The paint has obvious chips, nicks, edgewear, bumps and patina as you can see in the pictures. It is a wonderful and one of a kind! This would make a great piece to store things in like movies, DVD’s, music or kid’s items. The face of each cubby have a little lip to it which keeps things from rolling out. The back is old wood and made from 6 longs horizontally mounted boards. There is gap between the boards just under the bottom of each cubby which allows air to get to each cubby. We don’t see any square nails but there are a bunch of old rusty round nails. The cabinet measures 71.75″ W x 49.5″ H x 9-1/2 D. It weighs about 60 lbs. We don’t know the age of this item but it looks early 1900’s / 20th century to us. There are nicks, scrapes, small cracks, dings and worn paint/stains as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. This is a full size Shaker style triple wall box in old black paint. The 3 front panels are graduated to create very nice proportions. It is constructed of pine with tiny cut nails and some brass screws in the back for reinforcement. This is a reconstruction made from old vintage wood with the original black paint. There is some in-painting and touch-up on the edges. The dimensions are: 19-1/4″ tall x 12-1/4″ wide x 3-1/2 deep. Please view all of the pictures. Clock is made of a hard resin type of material, a type of plastic I think, it is not wooden. Door opens and closes very good. I think the tip of the minute hand is missing, just the very tip, looks like it might have been a tiny bit longer at one time. Clock in entirety is in great shape. Signed by artist and dated.
