What a fun sign, painted solid wood with an old worn surface. The one side that faced the weather is more faded than the other, as would be expected. The shape is great as is the detail of the painted surface. I think next to Pennsylvania, New Jersey might have the most roadside stands and markets. And Jersey corn is almost as good as PA’s. Uh oh, gonna get some comments. A great piece of Americana and folk art. The sign is 45″ long x 12″ high x 3/4 thick and has two iron loops to hang it by. Got this from a guy from New Jersey in a field, how appropriate. Like us on face book. Here is a antique picture frame, painted with a faux bois(false wood) finish. It has been painted in a folk art hand-painted faux finish. It measures 21 1/2 x 26 ins. In total size and has a inner rabbet insert of 16 x 20 ins. It is in FAIR as is condition with some scratches to the surface paint, minor chips on corners, but still sturdy. Please look at all pictures. I found this frame in the mountains of North Carolina, it use to house a early 1900s portrait. Perfect for all kinds of artwork, anything that is an Americana piece, embroidery, samplers, paintings, photographs.
