Genuine rare wonderful folk art overlooking Hudson with steamship displaying 2 American flags, a sailboat, dock and row boat. The tall trees in the foreground and delicately colored sky seems directly influenced by the Hudson River Valley school of paintings. Oil painting rendered on old found 1/2′ thick piece of cherry wood. Interestingly, on the back of the painting, the wood displays marks made by a rip saw. Measures 6″ x 12″.
