Description This au ction is for a Arlene Fisher Signed Original 1992 Lancaster County PA Farm Oil on Board. The piece is in very good condition with skuffs and dings to the frame. The image size measures 24X27 and the frame measures 27X31. The small tag in the lower left of the main pictures is a price tag for the piece hanging in my vintage shop. The tag is not attached to the painting just tucked between the frame and the painting. For more than 25 years, Arlene Fisher has been capturing the peacefulness and serenity of rural Lancaster life in her paintings. It is her way of preserving Lancaster’s farms. Her works are prized in Lancaster and are treasured by fans of Americana across the country. Part of her charm is that she “doesn’t make this stuff up”. Each of the homes, farms , schoolhouses, and other outbuildings portrayed in her paintings actually exist.
