This is a beautiful little 19th century document box with nice dry oxidized blue paint. The hasp and lock and bail handle are original. The brass rosettes on the handle are make-due additions. The box has its original dust seal and is lined with old wallpaper. The brass hinges are replacements. The blue paint is not old but has a nice dry powdery surface. The dimensions are: 9″ wide x 4-3/4″ tall x 5-1/2 deep (front to back). Please review all of the pictures and ask any questions that you might have. Check my feedback too!
