American Antique Folk Art Cabinet Cupboard With Glass White Alligator Paint

AMERICAN ANTIQUE FOLK ART CABINET CUPBOARD WITH GLASS WHITE ALLIGATOR PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful little glass door cabinet. It’s old and it’s Primitive. It measures 60.25″ high x 42.25″ wide at the crown and is 15 1/2 deep. There’s one drawer down below the doors and the drawer is 32.25″ wide by 11.75″ deep by 6.25 high. The drawer is painted a vibrant red on the inside as you can see. Inside the top shelf is 9.5″ high the next shelf is 8.5″ high. The next shelf is 14″ high and the bottom shelf is 14″ high. If you remove the top shelf, the next top shelf would be 19″ high as it goes up underneath the front of the cabinet and its about 14″ high to the door head. The barber pole is not for sale. It’s a nice two door cabinet with four panes of glass. Inside it’s painted a white also but the shelves clearly have undertones of red. The hardware, hinges, and latches appear to be original! There are rusty little Shaker style hinges and the little latch on the door has a metal knob. The latch is rusty and painted. The little frames of around the glass parts aren’t as old as the cabinet but we don’t know how old they are. The top is painted as you can see in the pictures and it has a crown around the top. Most of the main wood on this cabinet is 3/4 thick. The back is made from boards and the nails have iron spots and streaking as you can see. There’s also a little repair down at the lower left side. We took a close-up of that. It’s an old white paint with undertones of off-whites. There’s a lot of alligatoring, dry, chippy and peeling paint here and there as you can see. It’s old and it’s cool! There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a nice size too!! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Antique Early Folk Art Cabinet Original Paint Alligator Square Nails Gray Grey

ANTIQUE EARLY FOLK ART CHIMNEY CABINET ORIGINAL GREY PAINT ALLIGATOR SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this amazing old single door cabinet with old square nails. This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! 86 H x 33.5 W x 19.5 D. It’s very tall! We’ve had people take their time getting their shipper to come and get the items and it dings our ratings. Barber pole is not for sale. It’s a single door chimney cabinet with one drawer down below. The hardware, hinges, and latches all match and appear to be original, which is rare! The door has a little spring latch with a metal knob. It has some scroll work / etching on the latch, very nice! The hinges are small Shaker-style hinges. The door works well but is sagging a little so you have to lift up on it in order to close it fully. The drawer has two wooden mushroom knobs pulls on it. All of the hardware is old, worn, rusty and in places painted. The top has a small crown molding around the top of the cabinet. The sides are tongue and groove bead board wood. The bottom has a trim around it and that trim has deteriorated a little on the left front at the bottom. He bottom has some wear to it as you can see in the pictures. The cabinet will likely need shims as you can see the brace underneath and the wear / aged wood underneath. The back is made from thinner tongue and groove boards. There is one newer hole that someone sadly drilled in the back of the cabinet. But, the back is covered with old square nails as you can see in the pictures. It’s an old grey paint and the inside is not painted. The shelves all come out so it could be used as an armoire. All the shelves are made from a larger board and a thinner board as you can see in the pictures. The drawer down below is dovetail mortised as you can see in the close-up picture. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. American Antique Folk Art Pie Safe Apothecary Original White Alligator Paint

ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE FOLK ART PIE SAFE APOTHECARY ORIGINAL WHITE ALLIGATOR PAINT. Up for sale is this amazing old pie safe / apothecary cabinet. This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! H x 42.5 W at the top x 17.75 D at the top. We’ve had people take their time getting their shipper to come and get the items and it dings our ratings. And no, the barber pole is not for sale. It’s a nice two door pie safe above, with what appear to be the original screens and 5 drawers and one door down below. The hardware, hinges, and latches all match and appear to be original, which is rare! The doors each have little spring latches with a metal knob. The hinges are small butterfly hinges. The doors work well, but the left door hangs down a little bit so there’s a gap at the top and you kind of have to wiggle the latch a little to get it to latch. The right doors works fine. The drawers have cup-handle pulls on them. All of the hardware is old, worn, rusty and in places painted. The top of the cabinet is made from one big 7/8 thick board. The board has warped over the years and is raised in the center and at the front and back as you can see in the pictures. The top is not painted and you can see water marks and stains on the wood if you get up above the cabinet. There have been some newer screws added to the top. You cannot see the top when just looking at the cabinet unless you are really really tall. There’s also a good sized chunk of wood out of one part of the top and we took a close-up picture of that too. The bottom has some wear to it and the right side may need a shim. You can see some of the wear in the bottom picture on the right side. The back is made from boards and thin little battens. Some parts of the battens have broken off as you can see in the pictures but the cabinet is still sturdy. And, this cabinet is heavy for its size. Most of the main wood on this cabinet is 7/8 thick. It’s an old white paint and is a little more off-white inside and the shelves are not painted. Some of the shelves come out and the one in the bottom is kind of in there crooked. It looks to be the way it was built! The doors are held together with little cabinet corner braces. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Antique Aafa Folk Art Wooden Milking Stool Robins Egg Blue Alligator Paint Riser

ANTIQUE AAFA FOLK ART WOODEN MILKING STOOL ROBINS EGG BLUE ALLIGATOR PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful little miking stool. It has crackly old paint, lots of patina and a great look! The step measures 12.25 L x 8.75″ W x 10″ H. It is a nice robin’s egg blue with off-white and wood undertones. There are layers of paint so it has that thick, many layers look to it. Then, there are areas where there is very little paint with wood showing and just a little paint. There are also some areas of white paint on it including some on the underside. Its a very nice decorative piece for any Primitive collection! On one side there’s a crack and it was apparently repaired with a piece of wood underneath and painted over like the rest of the stool. You can see the split in the side. Then there’s a little round wooden bar under the seat also. The top has big mortises into the side legs as you as see in the pictures. This is truly a one-of-a-kind item. We dont know the age of this item. It’s a nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Early Antique Folk Art Aafa Pie Safe Original Blue Alligator Paint Cupboard

OOAK ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE FOLK ART AAFA PIE SAFE ORIGINAL BLUE ALLIGATOR PAINT ORIGINAL SCREENS!!! Up for sale is this amazing old pie safe. This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! 37 1/4″ W x 40.5″ H x 10.75 D. It’s a rare, one-of-a-kind white, folksy, screened pie safe. It has two doors on it with old Shaker style hinges as you can see in the pictures. The doors work well and the right door has a little wood thumb turn at the top to hold it shut against the cabinet. The cabinet then has a piece of wood down the middle of the cabinet. The left door does not have a thumb turn that holds the left door shut but it doesn’t open on it’s own for us. The doors are old. And there’s a little play in the doors on the hinges and when they are closed. The doors are 3/4 thick. It’s a wonderful and nice blue color. The screens are old, out of shape, a little rusty, perhaps have some paint on them and have a few holes here and there. Inside there are three shelves and they are a grungy, worn and well-used white. The shelves are slightly over 3/4 thick. The back is made from 4 old, wide and cracked boards and one across the top. There are big square nails in the boards on the back and and most of them are painted over in the color of the back which is a lighter, and probably newer blue than the front as it’s not alligatored or crackled like the blue on the front. The top is not painted but is very aged and has rusty nails. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item.
