SET OF 4 FOLK ART VINTAGE REPURPOSED WOOD ADORABLE SINGLE FAMILY BIRDHOUSES. Up for sale is this wonderful little set of 4 hand made birdhouses for your garden. They are new but made from old, repurposed wood and rusty nails. There are 4 unique and one-of-a-kind little houses. They have metal roofs, wood sides and each perch is a unique item. One is a doorknob while another is a faucet. The wood is cut and some of the ends are not finished as you can see in the pictures. They all measure about the same and are approximately 10 to 10.75″ D x 12.5″ H x 8.5 to 9.5 W. They weigh about 5 lbs. Early Aafa Antique Folk Art Cubbie Tool Wood Cupboard Black Paint Store Display

ANTIQUE FOLK ART 42 CUBBY WOOD APOTHECARY ORIGINAL BLACK PAINT STORE DISPLAY. Up for sale is this wonderful 42 drawer / cubby apothecary style cabinet. The color is a painted black on the cubby faces and the cabinet sides and top are natural wood color as are the interiors of the cubbies. It makes it very nice looking. It’s a big piece! The paint has obvious chips, nicks, edgewear, bumps and patina as you can see in the pictures. It is a wonderful and one of a kind! This would make a great piece to store things in like movies, DVD’s, music or kid’s items. The face of each cubby have a little lip to it which keeps things from rolling out. The back is old wood and made from 6 longs horizontally mounted boards. There is gap between the boards just under the bottom of each cubby which allows air to get to each cubby. We don’t see any square nails but there are a bunch of old rusty round nails. The cabinet measures 71.75″ W x 49.5″ H x 9-1/2 D. It weighs about 60 lbs. We don’t know the age of this item but it looks early 1900’s / 20th century to us. There are nicks, scrapes, small cracks, dings and worn paint/stains as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. AAFA FOLK ART EARLY PRIMITIVE ANTIQUE OLD APPLE TRAY WOOD GREEN WHITE PAINT. Up for sale is this old antique apple tray with handles. It’s wood and has splayed sides with mitered corners and handle cut outs on each end to carry it by. It’s a low tray and has old dark green paint on the outside and white paint on the inside. You can see hints of a lighter green color under the chips in the dark green paint so it may have been a lighter green at one point in its life. It has mitered splayed corners as you can see in the pictures. On one end, under the handle, the tray has a crack. It’s solid and was likely glued at some point. You can see the crack in the pictures. There is some edge wear, paint loss, nicks, scrapes, splatters, scratches, and dings. All of these “issues” are just as you’d expect from an item of this age. It measures about 25″ L x 15″ W x 3.5 H. It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Large Old Antique American Primitive Carved Wood Painted Whale. Original paint: dark blue-ish grey, worn away in places. Beautifully hand carved from one piece of wood. The mouth is accentuated by a shallow cut in the wood on both sides. The tail is especially beautifully detailed. Very solid, with a metal insert that fits onto a sturdy stand original to the piece. Two pieces: wooden whale and metal stand. Acquired in Maine more than twenty years ago. Thought to be from the 1930’s. The whale measures: c. 30 1/2 inches long, c. 5 1/2 inches tall, c. Overall height of the whale plus stand: c. 18 1/2 inches tall. There is a c. 1/4 inch hole in the wood in the whale’s midsection on one side. On the top pf the whale’s back there is a c. 2 inch piece of wood missing, about 1/4 inch deep. Some cracks and age wear on the wood overall, but the piece is firm and intact. Item with be well-packed with bubblewrap and double-boxed if warranted.
