This is a Large size Retablo with an original Painting from Cusco Peru, done in the 17th century Baroque Style. The painting is in the middle and a large wood niche with painted roses and milagros around the edges. This image is of the Jesus Christ revealing the Sacred Heart with in his chest. Despite the painting coming from Peru, the wood retablo and decorative boarder was made in Patzcuaro Michoacan where the painting was incorporated into this nicho. It would make a wonderful gift for the devout person in your life, or a great addition to your Mexican Folk Art Collection.. 12 1/2 inches tall by 10 inches wide and 2 inch deep. Antique EarlySmall Windsor Green Paint Wood Checker Board Folk Art Handmade AAFA

I love the size of the board, 13 1/2 inch by 8 1/2 inch. The checker board is nicely constructed out of one piece of wood, with a trim surrounding the whole board. Please study the pictures to see the condition. No real issues other than normal wear from age giving it a great old look. Paint has darkened from age. Antique 1937 or OLDER Hand Carved Wood Hand Painted Festival Tribal Mask 15″ X 7″. I acquired this mask from a family who’s grandparents had brought it back from trip into Mexico. I was told this mask was acquired from the Southern region i don’t know if its tied to the region as historical or if it was just acquired from a local. As for its authenticity it is 100% original, but i do not believe this mask has tribal affiliation i believe it to be used for festivals or its just antique tourist trade piece, either way this was hand made from the region and is fairly old at 1937. AAFA ANTIQUE EARLY FOLK ART 1800s DRY ORIGINAL PAINT MUSTARD WOOD DRY SINK

AMAZING AAFA 1800’S ORIGINAL PAINT DRY MUSTARD EARLY PRIMITIVE WOOD DRY SINK HEAVY! Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive dry sink. It’s a one-door cabinet in a wonderful bright Primitive dry mustard color (yellow mustard). All four sides are tongue and groove wood pieces. The paint appears to be all old and is dry, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! It’s an old dry sink. The door opens and has an old metal twist latch that goes in to a metal piece on the left door. You also could leave the doors open and display crocks, or firkins or other wonderful items. It’s a wonderful deep red color inside. On the left and right sides at the bottom there are some areas of damage where the top layer of wood came off, or better said, a portion of the yellow top wood came off leaving an indent. I hope this makes sense. Check out the pictures, we took a close up. There are a lot of old rusty nails as you can see in the pictures. Inside the well there is a rusty repair over the sink hole in the wood. Over to the right in the back, there is some damage / wear as you can see in the pictures. The paint has some edge wear, scrapes, patina, fading, variation of color, wood showing through, chipping and nicks. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It’s a great old cabinet / cupboard!! The cabinet measures 46″ L x 19.5″ W x 30.5 H. The well inside measures 43″ L x 16″ W x 6 H. The bead board on the door is 5/8 thick. We can also a shipper. This is a great dry sink! We regularly put up new items so check out our other items. Hopi Folk Art Mask by Gregory Lomayesva: hand-carved, hand-painted wood with feathers, hangs on a wall or sits on a flat surface. X 23 1/4 x 5 1/2. Gregory Lomayesva’s career began the old fashioned way with an idea and a pile of moxie. Dropping out of high school at the age of seventeen to pursue his art full-time, he landed his first job as a gallery assistant at one of Santa Fe’s prestigious showrooms. His cultural background now came into play. Of Hispanic ancestry on his mother’s side and Native American -Hopi- on his father’s side, Lomayesva began to reflect on his heritage and how it encircled him His introspection is evident in this fusion art. His woodworking pieces are bright and inventive and are a reflection of his own personal identification with and interpretation of his culture. The use of a particular image in a composition is a visual representation of a different feeling I’m having. It’s like emotional shorthand, says Gregory. He combines his love of historical western art themes and contemporary Indian art. Gregory has produced two albums of electronic pop music on his label Drip Records. He has also produced several short films. Doll House Antique Folk Art Architectural Model Wood Ooak Red White Paint Aafa

DOLL HOUSE ANTIQUE FOLK ART ARCHITECTURAL MODEL WOOD OOAK RED WHITE PAINT AAFA. Up for sale is this wonderful old antique Primitive architectural building / model or doll house. This is a 2-story wood house that has a hipped roof. The roof does not come off but the back of the house has an opening so you can get inside!! It has a wood exterior with white / and off-white paint, green trim and a red roof, columns and porch. The red paint is all crackled as you can see in the pictures. The white paint has a lot of patina / grunge as you can also see in the pictures. There are two windows on the front upstairs and one window and a door under the shed roof porch. There are also four windows on right side of the house and none on the left side of the house. On the front, the floor of the porch is the same nice oxblood red color. The windows are simple, Primitive, Craftsman-style windows with green frames. The back of the house is open for easy access as you can see in the pictures. When you look inside, you can see wires and sockets for light bulbs. We don’t know what this would have been used for, perhaps a train set? We don’t know if the lights work or not. You can also see a little stair inside from the first to the second floor. Inside the house its all open. The house does have a lot of edgewear, scrapes, chips, crackle, alligatoring, nicks, grunge, fading here and there, scuffs and chips! The edge of the roof has some dings at the corners as you can see in the pictures. The house measures 23.5″ D x 15.5″ W x 21.5 H. Thank you for looking at this item.
