ANTIQUE FOLK ART CABIN HAND CRAFTED BIRCHBARK & TWIG ADIRONDACK FRAME! Beautiful and rustic, we have a charming original primitive folk art picture or mirror frame with birch bark and twig accents throughout. Although we have obvious age and patina, this example is in fine condition with great integrity. We note some of the tiny little nails on the back side were never completely hammered down to the wood level… We will leave the decision to you to complete that task. It does not harm use, display or hanging. Solid wire assembly is in place, however, you could also remove and replace to change the direction of the piece for hanging should you choose to do so. Great original piece for cabin or rustic setting or decor! Exterior measures in at 14 & 1/2″ x 13″ with an interior back opening of 9″ x 7 & 1/2″. Antique Vtg 19th C 1870s Ebonized Ripple Pattern Picture Frame Folk Art Portrait

This offering is for an antique mid to late 19th century Molded Ripple Pattern Picture Frame. The frame measures app. 10 3/4″ by 12″ and the rabbet measures app. 12 8 1/8 by 9 3/8 The frame was constructed with round nails so it dates from the 1850’s to about the 1880’s. The original dark varnish finish is very nice and it has a glided inside edge. There is a surface chip on one of the corners as seen in our close-up photo’s. Otherwise the condition is very nice with only light scattered wear. The surface is excellent and untouched with a great deep patina. The frame will make the perfect addition to an early portrait, folk art painting or print. RARE Antique Primitive Early American Folk Tramp Art Heart Wood Picture Frame

Very unusual and rare piece of Early American history! This tramp art frame is a great piece of folk art, with wooden hearts on each corner and splayed wooden pieces coming out from each side of the frame, each one hand carved. It is pretty deep, so it could have originally been used as a shadow box for a mourning wreath or something else. Hangs horizontally, but could be changed to hang vertically. Measurements: 17″ tall x 20″ wide x 2 deep. Inside of frame: 9.5″ x 6.5″. Condition: In as found condition. Will need a back, wire, and glass for framing. Also, missing half of one of the hearts. One of the pieces on the sides moves and it may be missing a decorative piece on the side, hard to tell. For its age, it is actually in pretty decent shape. For your consideration is one charming Antique needle point embroidery. The needlepoint depicts the central image of a bird, presumably a parrot or perhaps some such similar bird in kind. The inside perimeter has also been decorated with an abundance similarly flavored roses and foliage. The primary colors are red, gold, white, yellow, pink and navy blue. All is in an original used Antique as found condition. The frame itself has a Antique wavy glass as well as an outer edge beaded gesso design. The overall size measures approximately 13.5 by 13 the frame is time worn allowing the piece an Antique decorative appeal. Description & Condition: Up for sale is this antique 19th Century folk art oil on canvas painting of a young girl. She is wearing a white dress and is pointing a finger towards her face. This oval portrait is in fair condition with a few small punctures to canvas and the gilt wood frame has losses to the gesso. The painting measures 21″ by 17″ and frame 27″ by 23″.
