Bali Balinese Folk Art Painting Framed Ubud Style Art 17×19 Market Festival
Bali Balinese Folk Art Painting on what appears to be cloth. Framed under plexiglass in a burgundy mat. Unremoved from the frame. Painting is really well done. Don’t have any information about artist, origin or age. Black lacquer like painted frame has a few dings. Please inspect all photos closely. They are an incredibly important part of the description. Mexican 1937 Hand Painted Carved Festival Folk Art Tribal Mask Tourist Piece
Antique Mexican 1937 or OLDER Hand Carved Wood Hand Painted Festival Folk Art Tribal Mask 18″ X 11″ – Tourist Trade Piece. I acquired this mask from a family who’s grandparents had brought it back from an trip into Mexico. I was told this mask was acquired from the Southern region i don’t know if its tied to the region as historical or if it was just acquired from a local. As for its authenticity it is 100% original, but i do not believe this mask has tribal affiliation i believe it to be used for festivals or its just antique tourist trade piece, either way this was hand made from the region and is fairly old even at 1937.
