Please check my other auctions. In this listing, we have an original, incredible one-of-a-kind bomber bag from WW2, owned by T/5 (Technician Fifth Grade) Harry R. What makes it so unique is the folk art on the bag, painted by the soldier during the war. This is guaranteed to be original, and it still has part of a Railway Express Agency sticker from Seattle with Mr. Hammel’s name on it. The bag itself is in very good shape for its age. The handle is torn, as you can see in the photos. On one side is painted T/5 Harry R. Hammel, 24th Mechanized Calvary Reconnaissance Troup. There’s actually an incredible PDF historical document that recorded the history of his squadron if you want to print it out and keep it with this piece: www. Cgsc. Contentdm. Oclc. Org/cdm/ref/collection/p4013coll8/id/2897. On the other side is painted a neat picture of Japan along with the places Mr. Hammel was assigned: Inducted at Fort Hayes, Columbus, OH; Basic Training at Ft. Trp at Moji, Kyushu, Japan. This would make a great centerpiece for a WW2 military collection! The bag has been stuffed with paper to protect it. AMAZING AAFA 1800’S ORIGINAL PAINT YELLOW BLUE EARLY PRIMITIVE WOOD DRY SINK. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive dry sink. It’s a nice sized two door cabinet with a shelf inside. It’s a wonderful dry, soft yellow color with blue and wood undertones. There is paint coming through the yellow paint. There is a wonderful blue paint on the inside of the doors which may indicate that the entire cabinet. May have been blue at one point and the outside yellow was the secondary color. Please see photos for the best description and accuracy. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! There are also some cracks in the wood from age. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! It’s an old dry sink and you can see that there’s even a drain / hole on the right side in the back. We took a close up picture of this. The doors open and the left door has a metal latch and loop to hold it shut. You could leave the doors open and display crocks, or firkins or other wonderful items. There are a lot of old rusty nails as you can see in the pictures. Also, there’s a crack in the left side that starts at the top but is still sturdy and strong. The paint has some edge wear, scrapes, patina, fading, variation of color, wood showing through, chipping and nicks. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It’s a great old cabinet / cupboard!! The cabinet measures 41.5 W x 18.5″ D x 29.75″ H. They are painted with rich color and exquisite stylized detailing throughout depicting gorgeous figural scenes. Both are done on thin pieces of tin and are mounted to a period wooden frame. Up for sale is this large vintage landscape painting, a lake or river scene with a moose in the water in front of rolling hills and trees. Signed By Dan Smith. It is accompanied by a note saying it was found in Avery County, Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, near Grandfather Mountain. It also says it was painted with root base paints, I wouldnt know how to determine whether that is true or not. Measures about 48 x 16. There are some scratches and wear both to painting and frame. Painting needs a cleaning, there is also quite a bit of texture, like crackelure present. Please view all 12 photos to help judge condition.
