AMERICAN ANTIQUE FOLK ART CABINET CUPBOARD WITH GLASS WHITE ALLIGATOR PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful little glass door cabinet. It’s old and it’s Primitive. It measures 60.25″ high x 42.25″ wide at the crown and is 15 1/2 deep. There’s one drawer down below the doors and the drawer is 32.25″ wide by 11.75″ deep by 6.25 high. The drawer is painted a vibrant red on the inside as you can see. Inside the top shelf is 9.5″ high the next shelf is 8.5″ high. The next shelf is 14″ high and the bottom shelf is 14″ high. If you remove the top shelf, the next top shelf would be 19″ high as it goes up underneath the front of the cabinet and its about 14″ high to the door head. The barber pole is not for sale. It’s a nice two door cabinet with four panes of glass. Inside it’s painted a white also but the shelves clearly have undertones of red. The hardware, hinges, and latches appear to be original! There are rusty little Shaker style hinges and the little latch on the door has a metal knob. The latch is rusty and painted. The little frames of around the glass parts aren’t as old as the cabinet but we don’t know how old they are. The top is painted as you can see in the pictures and it has a crown around the top. Most of the main wood on this cabinet is 3/4 thick. The back is made from boards and the nails have iron spots and streaking as you can see. There’s also a little repair down at the lower left side. We took a close-up of that. It’s an old white paint with undertones of off-whites. There’s a lot of alligatoring, dry, chippy and peeling paint here and there as you can see. It’s old and it’s cool! There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a nice size too!! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. AAFA EARLY FOLK ART ANTIQUE WALL CABINET CUPBOARD OLD BUTTERCREAM PAINT CRATES. Up for sale is this wonderful old wall cabinet or cupboard. It’s a very soft buttercream color. It has a single door and flat top with a top scalloped crown to it. There are two butterfly style hinges and a wooden knob / pull. The hinges are probably the original ones as you can’t see an outline of another hinge anywhere. The hinges have some surface rust on them. The cabinet measures 17.5″ W x 10.25″ D x 28.5 H to the front scallop. The cabinet is old and the paint old, dry and has a lot of alligatoring you can see in the pictures. It does have round nails and some of them are rusty too. The paint is old and crackled with hints of wood showing through. The back of the cupboard is wood and it made from four pieces of wood. The top is also painted as you can see. It is also square mortised at the top to the sides. Inside there are two shelves, three sections total. The inside is not painted and the middle shelf is made from an old crate that says G. It announces their daughters marriage in 1943. Please see the photos for an accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It’s a nice old cupboard!! Antique Early Folk Art Cabinet Original Paint Alligator Square Nails Gray Grey

ANTIQUE EARLY FOLK ART CHIMNEY CABINET ORIGINAL GREY PAINT ALLIGATOR SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this amazing old single door cabinet with old square nails. This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! 86 H x 33.5 W x 19.5 D. It’s very tall! We’ve had people take their time getting their shipper to come and get the items and it dings our ratings. Barber pole is not for sale. It’s a single door chimney cabinet with one drawer down below. The hardware, hinges, and latches all match and appear to be original, which is rare! The door has a little spring latch with a metal knob. It has some scroll work / etching on the latch, very nice! The hinges are small Shaker-style hinges. The door works well but is sagging a little so you have to lift up on it in order to close it fully. The drawer has two wooden mushroom knobs pulls on it. All of the hardware is old, worn, rusty and in places painted. The top has a small crown molding around the top of the cabinet. The sides are tongue and groove bead board wood. The bottom has a trim around it and that trim has deteriorated a little on the left front at the bottom. He bottom has some wear to it as you can see in the pictures. The cabinet will likely need shims as you can see the brace underneath and the wear / aged wood underneath. The back is made from thinner tongue and groove boards. There is one newer hole that someone sadly drilled in the back of the cabinet. But, the back is covered with old square nails as you can see in the pictures. It’s an old grey paint and the inside is not painted. The shelves all come out so it could be used as an armoire. All the shelves are made from a larger board and a thinner board as you can see in the pictures. The drawer down below is dovetail mortised as you can see in the close-up picture. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART APOTHECARY CABINET ORIGINAL BLACK PAINT OLD CRATES. Up for sale is this wonderful 15-drawer apothecary cabinet. It is so amazing! Isnt it so cute! All of the little drawers are equal sized and each has a little porcelain knob or pull. The color of the cabinet and drawers is a nice old black. What a great look! 15 w x 8.25 d (9.25 with knobs) x 10.75 h and the inside of the little drawers are 3.75 w x 7.375 d x 1.25 h. The top, back and sides of the cabinet are painted black also. The entire cabinet has patina, marks, paint loss (especially on the two sides), and worn finish as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldnt expect from an item of this age. The drawers are very clean inside and all of the drawers work well. The drawers are made from old cigar crates / boxes as you can see in the pictures. Some of the drawers have labels on them. One says Factory No. 1471 , 1st District, State of PA. The drawers have a gap in the bottom of them as you can see in the pictures. To fix this, someone made little masonite inserts for the drawers. The undersides of the masonite are a blue-green color. This is a very nice little apothecary cabinet! There are nicks, scrapes, dings, paint loss, paint chips, and worn finish as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldnt expect from an item of this age. Thank you for looking at this item. ADORABLE AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART APOTHECARY CABINET OLD WHITE PAINT MAKE-DO. Up for sale is this wonderful six-drawer apothecary cabinet. Isn’t it so cute! It has six equal sized drawers. The color of the cabinet is a nice white, it may have been painted in its lifetime but the paint still looks old. Each drawer has a little staple / metal pull. 23.5 W x 13 D without the knobs x 8 H. It’s a nice little size! The cabinet it made from plywood and is probably a “make do” cabinet from the Depression Era or between there and WWII. The top is one piece of wood and it doesn’t quite go all the way to the back of the cabinet as you can see in the close-up picture. This may have been done to make more than one of these together a stackable item. The entire cabinet has patina, marks. Paint loss, and worn finish as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. The bottom of the cabinet has a little wood loss on the lower right front. The drawers are very clean inside and don’t have any smell or order to them. All the drawers work but a couple of them do stick a little. This is a very nice little apothecary cabinet! We don’t know the age of this cabinet but it looks old to us! You make the call. It is a wonderful and one of a kind item! There are nicks, scrapes, dings.
