ANTIQUE 8 DRAWER WOOD APOTHECARY CABINET PRIMITIVE ALLIGATOR WHITE PAINT DRESSER. Up for sale is this wonderful 8 drawer cabinet. It has large drawers with old cup / canopy drawer pulls. The color is a painted white color with lots of crackle in the paint. We call this alligator paint. The entire cabinet has old crackled or missing paint. The top has some scrapes, paint missing and wear with a very nice blue undertone here and there. There is also blue around the inside edges of the drawers as you can see in the pictures. The left side of the cabinet is white, like the front and the right side of cabinet blue as you can see in the pictures. 43″ W by 18″ D without the handles by 30 H. The drawers each measure. 15.5″ W by 15″ D by 4.5 high inside. All of the doors have locks and a divider inside as you can see in the pictures. We don’t have the keys to the locks and we don’t know if the locks work. The bottoms of the drawers are made from plywood. There is a hole in the top as you can see in the pictures. There isn’t a back on this cabinet as you can see in the pictures. You can see the backs of the drawers from the back. All of the drawers have a divider in them; we took a picture of this. We don’t know the age of this item but it looks early 20th century to us. There are nicks, scrapes, small cracks, dings and worn paint/stain as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age.
