AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART OLD WHITE PAINT LARGE WOOD WHEELBARROW GARDEN PRIMITIVE YARD ART. Up for sale is this wonderful old wheelbarrow. We don’t know the age or its origin, but it looks old to us. It’s an old white and worn. There are a few hints of some green paint peeking through on the front board and a little on one side but it’s very light and mostly it’s old worn white. It measures 69.5 long WOW! X 24.5 wide at handles x 22-24 wide at front of the barrow and. 5 high at highest point. It’s been well used and loved over the years. The handles are worn, the sides have some scrapes, paint loss and wear. The inside shows some light use. The metal parts that hold the front wheel, the loops for the sides, and the band around the wheel have surface rust as you can see in the pictures. It also has square nuts on the parts where there are bolts to hold it together. We will do our best to answer your questions. Thank you for looking at this item. OOAK ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE 19th CENTURY WHITE PIE SAFE WITH PUNCHED TIN ORIGINAL PAINT. Up for sale is this amazing old pie safe. This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! It’s a rare, one-of-a-kind white, punched tin pie safe. It has two doors on top, a drawer, and two doors on the bottom. The upper doors have rusty and faded punched tins as you can see. The cabinet is mostly a white /off-white color but there are undertones of wood, and light green or blue. What paint is left is alligatored and worn. It measures 70.5″ H x 37.75″ W at the main cabinet by 14.75 D not including the top trim or knobs. There are cabinet and drawer pulls and all of them are brown and mushroom style as you can see in the pictures. The two on the drawer are the same but the others are similar but different. The upper one on the door has a washer on the inside as you can see in the pictures. On the cabinet doors, it has a piece of wood / thumb turn to hold the doors shut on both of the right doors as you can see in the pictures. The bottom thumb turn looks newer and has a newer screw. There are two shelves in the upper part and one shelf in the bottom part. The inside of the upper doors are white and tin while the bottom doors are tan painted wood. We don’t know the age of this pie safe but most of them are from before 1900. You can see the wear, age and patina on the wood, wow!! There are scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks, swirls, and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – we love it!! The hinges are little rusty shaker style hinges and the upper right door, upper hinge has nails in it that get a little loose with wear and then the door gets a little loose. You can just tap these nails back in and you’re good for a while more. The sides have a wonderful whale tail boot jack and there’s a crack in the center of the tail developing. They are still sturdy but you can see the crack. The back is made of three boards and two battens and there is an old metal repair on the left side. The back has old rusty round nails and black iron spots from the nails on the wood. On the left side there’s a gap at the edge and we took a picture of that. The top is not painted and has warped a little toward the front on both sides. We took a picture of that also. It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. AAFA ANTIQUE EARLY FOLK ART 1800s DRY PAINT RED WHITE DRY SINK PORCELAIN. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive dry sink that has been converted and is now a working porcelain / cast iron sink. It’s a petite sized one-door cabinet with the porcelain sink made to fit in to it. Wow, we’ve never seen another one like this!! It’s a wonderful red color with paint loss and patina. The cabinet measures 30.25″ W x 18″ D x 27.5 H. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! On the front there’s an old slide latch and catch along with. Shaker style hinges on the door. The entire cabinet is made out of tongue and groove boards. It’s an old dry sink. We don’t know the age of it but it looks late 1800’s to us with the addition of the porcelain / cast iron insert. On the back, there are a lot of old rusty nails as you can see in the pictures. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. DOLL HOUSE ANTIQUE FOLK ART ARCHITECTURAL MODEL WOOD OOAK RED WHITE PAINT AAFA. Up for sale is this wonderful old antique Primitive architectural building / model or doll house. This is a 2-story wood house that has a gable roof. The roof does not come off but the back of the house has a big opening so you can get inside!! It has a wood exterior with off-white paint, green trim and a red roof, columns and porch. The white paint has a lot of patina / grunge as you can also see in the pictures. There are three windows on the front upstairs and two windows and a door under the shed roof porch. There are also two windows on right side of the house and two on the left side of the house. There is no glass in any of the windows. The windows are simple, Primitive, Craftsman-style windows with green frames. The back of the house has a big opening for easy access as you can see in the pictures. When you look inside, you can see the lace curtains and little green shades on the windows. A couple of the shades have cracks in them like the one at the attic / dormer window. You can also see that the front door opens on hinges. Inside the house its all open. The house does have some edgewear, scrapes, chips, crackle, alligatoring, nicks, grunge, fading here and there, scuffs and chips! The roof has some dings at the corners and edges as you can see in the pictures. The house measures 17.25″ D (with the porch) x 11.75″ W x 24.75 H (not including the chimney). Along with the house, there are a few accessories. First there’s a little set of stairs off the front porch. There is also a little storm shelter door which we show on the left side, but could be put anywhere. There’s also a little green bench and three wood Primitive style chairs. This is a 2-story wood house that has a hipped roof. The roof does not come off but the back of the house has an opening so you can get inside!! It has a wood exterior with white / and off-white paint, green trim and a red roof, columns and porch. The red paint is all crackled as you can see in the pictures. The white paint has a lot of patina / grunge as you can also see in the pictures. There are two windows on the front upstairs and one window and a door under the shed roof porch. There are also four windows on right side of the house and none on the left side of the house. On the front, the floor of the porch is the same nice oxblood red color. The windows are simple, Primitive, Craftsman-style windows with green frames. The back of the house is open for easy access as you can see in the pictures. When you look inside, you can see wires and sockets for light bulbs. We don’t know what this would have been used for, perhaps a train set? We don’t know if the lights work or not. You can also see a little stair inside from the first to the second floor. Inside the house its all open. The house does have a lot of edgewear, scrapes, chips, crackle, alligatoring, nicks, grunge, fading here and there, scuffs and chips! The edge of the roof has some dings at the corners as you can see in the pictures. The house measures 23.5″ D x 15.5″ W x 21.5 H. Thank you for looking at this item. DOLL HOUSE ANTIQUE FOLK ART ARCHITECTURAL MODEL WOOD OOAK RED WHITE PAINT AAFA. Up for sale is this wonderful old antique Primitive architectural building / model or doll house. This is a 2-story wood house that has a hipped roof with a cute little dormer on the front. The roof does not come off but the back of the house has two doors on it so you can get inside!! It has a wood log cabin style wood exterior (as opposed to shiplap siding or something else) with white / slightly off-white paint and red and grey-black trim. The paint is all crackled and patina-ed as you can see in the pictures. The roof is made to look like wood shakes and there are several missing. There are also some that have buckled a little over time. The roof is the dark / grey-black color. There’s red trim around the cornice of the roof and there are cute little corbels around the cornice. The front left corner of the upper cornice has a piece missing on it and the nail is exposed. There are three windows on the front upstairs and two windows under the shed roof porch. There are also two windows on each side of the house also. On the front, there’s a little red door to enter in to the house and the door is operable. The floor of the porch is a wood plank floor and it’s the dark / grey-black color as is the “skirt” around the porch (because the house is a raised foundation). The skirt goes all the way around the house. On the front, there’s a small (removable) set of stairs as you can see in the pictures. Also around the porch is a little red and white railing. It’s very cute but has a chunk missing out of the red top rail to the right of the front stairs. The windows are simple, Primitive, almost Craftsman-style windows with red frames. The back of the house opens up for easy access as you can see in the pictures. The back doors are a little warped but still latch with a rusty old hasp and latch. The back doors are cracked but still stable. The roof on the back is just wood and has a little red chimney in the middle. There is a piece of wood missing on the left side and you can see into the attic. You don’t see the opening from the front of the house. Inside the house its all open. It is painted inside all white except for the first floor floor which is wood color. Overall the paint is in really old-but-great-patina shape considering its age. The house does have a lot of edgewear, scrapes, chips, crackle, alligatoring, nicks, grunge, fading here and there, scuffs and chips! The house measures 30″ high and about 9.5″ deep at the house and about 14 deep with the porch. It’s about 18.25 wide at the widest part of the cornice on the second floor. It weighs about 8 lbs. AAFA EARLY FOLK ART ANTIQUE WALL SHELF ORIGINAL WHITE PAINT SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful one of a kind wall shelf. It’s old, its paint is wonderfully crackled and alligatored. It’s wood, and it appears to be the original old paint. It is white with wood color, beige, green and even a few blue undertones. The white paint is very old. It’s got edgewear and paint chips / missing paint but it’s adorable with lots of age and patina! The supports are nicely scalloped as you can see in the pictures. On the back, the little scallops are held in to the back board with little square nails. On the front, there are a number of places where they put holes through the face board to hold it to the wall. All of this just adds such wonderful character to this shelf! On the top, there are two newer eye hooks as you can see in the pictures. These could easily be unscrewed if you don’t want them. This is truly a one-of-a-kind item. The shelf measures 48″ L at the top and 43″ L along the back x 8.75″ H x 8″ D. The wood on the top is 1 thick. We don’t know the age of this item. There are nicks, scrapes, edge wear, paint loss, fading, dings and worn paint as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. Barrington, but not sure. Housed in a simple oak frame. Sight size is 9 1/2″ x 11 1/2″. Frame is 12 1/4″ x 15 1/2″. Some wear and discoloration to outer sides of frame. Frame is sturdy though.
