It appears to be yellow cedar and has the famous deeply carved RAVEN motif. Interesting grip/handle design and abalone eye. Nice aged patina and a couple of white marks across the beak and near the paddle tip. I did not try to remove them, but will leave this to the lucky winner. No date or place made listed. 31-1/4″ in length and about 5″ across at its widest point. From a clean smoke-free home. Don’t let it get away! From a non-smoke home. Painted in the manor of Currier & Ives we did some searching on the internet and were actually able to find this painting, which was originally painted by George Durrie, for Currier & Ives. Century, Watercolor Painting is signed on the rock with the initials “GDR, ” whom we were not able to find. It depicts a small New England Farm in the middle of winter. Measuring 16″ by 20″, this painting is in original clean condition and comes under glass in a 23″ by 27″ wood frame. The frame does have some edge wear and loss to the inner part, but there are no other problems. We are listing this New England Winter Watercolor Painting without any reserve. I have had several of these for over 15 years and added my last one just last year. Please ask any questions before I leave! Please enlarge the photos for the very best description! PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS EARLY BEFORE I LEAVE! DESCRIPTION: (BE SURE TO ENLARGE THE PHOTOS FOR THE VERY BEST DESCRIPTION). I believe this is a pintail duck decoy. I love the carving around the beak and through the eyes. There is some paint wear to the head and neck, but not bad. The body shows some dirtiness. I have never touched it to clean it in any way. The tail shows some wear to the outer edges of the wood. Please use the pictures and enlarge them for the very best description! This decoy is solid and weighs 2lbs 5ozs while measuring 16 3/4 inches in length from the tip of the bill to the end of the tail. Appears to be signed “Rossi”. The frame is marked on the back “Rieger’s Art Shop, Reading PA”. Condition: There is a small puncture on the building just above the door (please check photos). Puncture is not very noticeable and could be repaired. The painting and frame are showing some wear from age and storage. Painting with frame measures about 52″ across x about 28&7/8″ high. Wonderful old framed tattoo flash art. Hand drawn and painted, folk art. Really nice and in great condition, has a little discoloration and a few marks on the surface but really insignificant considering its age. Frame measures 15 1/2″ high by 19 1/2″ wide. Tattoo sheet measures 9 1/2″ by 14″, hard to tell exactly because the sheet is under a mat. Tattoos shown are patriotic. See photos, each one has a price next to it. That one had pencil markings on the back that read From a shop in Fall River, Mass. Being near the ocean, it would have been frequented by Navy and Marine personnel. Tattoos on this one are a little larger than our last one. We do still try to keep them at a minimum.
