Wonderful original oil painting measuring 32.5″ x27″. Just came out of a fine Cape Cod estate. New England Artist in Ireland. A native of New England, RJ Houghton has been painting and photographing beautiful landscapes for over thirty years. He graduated from Dean Academy and Massachusetts College of Art with degrees in Fine Art; and has continued his studies with some of the foremost master artists of our time. The Artist is a longstanding member of Boston’s Copley Society of Art and the Provincetown Art Association and Museum; and has exhibited in private galleries from Maine to Cape Cod. He is strongly influenced by annual excursions to Ireland and the UK.

The piece measures, with frame approximately 22″ x 17″. The colors are so vibrant that the piece gives off a 3D impression and draws the viewer into it. The piece has remained in my family either stored or hung on a wall away from windows and vents.
