Up for sale is this pre-owned 1996 Rosy Revelo Original Painting. I cannot tell if this is a watercolor or some type of oil painting. I can see cracking in the paint and missing paint (Look At The Close Up Photos). Looks like its on paper. Frame measures 23″ X 18.5″. Born in 1965 in Ibarra, she lives and works in Quito. In 1989 she graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the Universidad Central del Ecuador and studied at the University of Yale Hartford in Connecticut, the United States, obtaining her PhD in Aesthetics, Values and Culture. She is currently director of the Centro Cultural Benjamín Carrión in Quito, president of the Estampería Quiteña and founder of the College of professional artists of Pichincha and of the art collective of Cienfuegos.
