Charming American Antique Oil on Canvas depicting a historic home with two horses and carriages outside the fence. This unframed painting has been relined and restored at some point a long while ago I believe. It shows expected craquelure. The painting measures 24″ x 36″. Aafa Folk Art Early Primitive Antique Old Wood Grey Original Paint Tote Tray

AAFA FOLK ART EARLY PRIMITIVE ANTIQUE OLD WOOD GREY ORIGINAL PAINT TOTE TRAY. Up for sale is this old antique tote with a handle. It’s wood and has splayed sides and a handle cut out on in the middle carry it by. It’s a low tray and has old grey paint with more paint remaining on the outside and a darker patine on the inside. You can see lots of wood color under the missing paint. On one end, near the handle, there’s a notch out of the end wood. Below the notch there’s another little hole. We’re not sure what these were for, perhaps a drain? , but they appear to have been intentional. There’s also a saw cut on this end where perhaps they started another notch and stopped. On the other end, right next to the handle there’s a slot. The nails are rusty but appear to all be round. There is a lot of edge wear, paint loss, nicks, scrapes, splatters, scratches, and dings. There is also a lot of iron spotting around the nails. On the bottom there is some green paint here and there. This looks to be something it may have been set in rather than paint that it was painted, but we’re not sure. All of these “issues” are just as you’d expect from an item of this age. 25.5 L x 12.25 W x 3.5 H to rim x 7.5 H to handle. It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Antique Primitive Folk Art Pie Safe Punched Tin Original Red Yellow Paint Stars

OOAK ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE FOLK ART PIE SAFE PUNCHED TIN ORIGINAL RED YELLOW PAINT STARS. Up for sale is this amazing old pie safe. This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! 62.5 H x 42 W at the top x 17 D at the top. It’s a rare, one-of-a-kind white, folksy, punched / louvered tin pie safe. It has two doors on it with old Shaker style hinges as you can see in the pictures. The doors work well and the right door has a little wood thumb turn at the top to hold it shut against the cabinet. This door then has a an astragal (wood thing on the left side of the door) that holds the left door shut. The doors are old. And there’s a little play in the doors on the hinges and when they are closed. The doors are 3/4 thick. It’s a yellow cabinet and is yellow on the wood parts, top and sides including the tins on the sides. The front tins are a bold red. The tins are stars and each star has a circle around it. The front tins are in good shape considering their age. The right side tins have some rust on the bottom two tins and the bottom one is a little pushed in. On the left side they are in good shape with red paint undertones and some rust too. Inside there are three shelves and they are a grungy, worn and well-used white. The shelves are 1-1/8 thick. The back is made from 7 old wood tongue and groove boards. There are big square rusty nails all over the back. There’s a big square nail coming down from the top where there is a mouse hole near the top and inside there’s a metal repair. We took a close-up of that for you. The top has some wear to it and we took a picture of it on its side. You can see that it may have been wet or something as the grain lifted and separated but the top is still strong. It’s only on the surface and you can’t see the top (unless you are really tall) when you are in front of the cabinet. The wood on the top is 1-1/8 thick! There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Antique Folk Art Picture Frame, Hand Woven One-Of-A-Kind Tramp Art Primitive

I’m not sure how best to describe this antique picture frame because there is nothing quite like it. Sister has owned it for years; it is completely hand crafted and very likely one-of-a-kind. Best described as a piece of folk art or tramp art, this intricate piece dates from the early 1900’s and possibly late 1800’s. The back of the frame, easel, and picture surround are hand-carved walnut (the back has a raised panel). The basket weave and hand-woven front of the frame combines several materials – possibly reed, wicker, straw, and/or??? Sister will take lots of close-ups but feel free to ask questions or request additional pictures of any area or material. The only condition issue is not very noticeable and can be viewed in the last picture – a small braided foot has separated from the basket-weave leg. The little foot is still attached but the picture shows the separation. This is the ONLY apology! Otherwise, all is in excellent condition – even the little dangles hanging by tiny braided chains are all there. Everything is strong, tight, and beautifully finished…. A real credit to this early maker. The frame measures 15 inches tall and 10-1/4 inches across. The picture opening from the back is 6-1/2 X 4-1/2 inches and 4X6 at the front. I think it would also look great with a small mirror. It does not have glass. This unique frame would pair nicely with a variety of styles – mission, arts & crafts, country, even…. Aafa Early Folk Art Antique Primitive Wall Cabinet Cupboard Old Blue Paint

AAFA EARLY FOLK ART ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE WALL CABINET CUPBOARD OLD BLUE PAINT. Up for sale is this adorable wall cabinet or cupboard. It’s a wonderful deep blue color. It has a single door and scroll top. There’s a super cute little mushroom handle, Shaker style hinges and a thumb-turn metal spin latch. The top metal hinge pin is a long nail. The cabinet measures 19 H to the main part of the cabinet and 23.75 H to the top x 12 W x 6 D. This cabinet would work nicely as a medicine cabinet in a bathroom or just as a nice display piece on the wall. There are two large holes in the scroll top probably from where it was hung on the wall. The cabinet is old, but we don’t know how old. The paint is old and crackled with blue on top with green and wood color undertones. The back of the cupboard is wood and it made from 3 pieces of wood as you can see in the pictures. The nails are rusty, old and round. Inside there’s two shelves, three sections total. The inside is painted and off-white with stains, streaks, chips, edgewear and obvious wear from use and age. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It’s a nice old cupboard!!
