DESCRIPTION: Very nice American 1st half 19th century green painted dovetailed dome top wood box with dovetailed lid, otherwise square nailed. SIZE: 15 1/2″W x 7″H x 9D. CONDITION: Very good, nice original green paint, few short minor tight age splits to lid, small chip bottom edge on one side, one old hinge replaced no other repairs. Note; camera lighting glare. OUTSTANDING FOLK ART PAINTED ANTIQUE WOODEN BOWL, WATERMELON. Offered here a great folk art painted antique wooden bowl/trencher. The bowl itself is beautifully carved in an elongated oval shape. It measures 19 1/2 x 11 1/4 x 3 1/2. The interior finish is a light varnish. For decorative purposes this bowl was painted to look like a watermelon and drilled to hang on a wall. I would date the painting to the 1950s considering the enamel paint used. Thanks for looking into my auctions. Mexican 1937 Wood Carved Painted Folk Art Festival Tribal Mask Tourist Piece

Antique 1937 or OLDER Hand Carved Wood Hand Painted Festival Tribal Mask 15″ X 7″. I acquired this mask from a family who’s grandparents had brought it back from trip into Mexico. I was told this mask was acquired from the Southern region i don’t know if its tied to the region as historical or if it was just acquired from a local. As for its authenticity it is 100% original, but i do not believe this mask has tribal affiliation i believe it to be used for festivals or its just antique tourist trade piece, either way this was hand made from the region and is fairly old at 1937. We are pleased to offer you this 19th Century Pennsylvania German Fraktur or Birth Record. This Fraktur is dated September 13, 1843 and is from Lebanon County, PA. This was for the daughter of Jacob Shram…. What a great printed piece from G. Peters of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. E Pluribus Enum with Bald Eagle, Angel with harps, brids, fruits and flowers, along with hand colored accents. The frame is craft made hand painted in Pa.
