EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART GRAIN BIN ORIGINAL CRACKLE PAINT SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful, old, wooden grain bin It is mostly square in shape with canted sides. It’s a wonderful old green color with lots of patina, chippy paint, paint loss and crackles. Wow, we love the look! It measures 35-3/4 H x 21.25 D at deepest part x 8.25 D at top x 20-3/4 W. It’s relatively clean inside as you can see from the pictures. It’s a wonderful size! This will make a great conversation piece. There’s some nicks, chips, surface imperfections, scrapes, discolorations, fading, chipping, crackling, flaking and edgewear as you can see in the pictures. These “imperfections” add character! It has many character scratches to the interior and spotting or differences in color from age and use. Look at the color, WOW! It’s clean inside considering its age. Rare Aafa Antique Folk Art Early 1800 Paint Yellow Blue Primitive Wood Dry Sink

AMAZING AAFA 1800’S ORIGINAL PAINT YELLOW BLUE EARLY PRIMITIVE WOOD DRY SINK. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive dry sink. It’s a nice sized two door cabinet with a shelf inside. It’s a wonderful dry, soft yellow color with blue and wood undertones. There is paint coming through the yellow paint. There is a wonderful blue paint on the inside of the doors which may indicate that the entire cabinet. May have been blue at one point and the outside yellow was the secondary color. Please see photos for the best description and accuracy. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! There are also some cracks in the wood from age. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! It’s an old dry sink and you can see that there’s even a drain / hole on the right side in the back. We took a close up picture of this. The doors open and the left door has a metal latch and loop to hold it shut. You could leave the doors open and display crocks, or firkins or other wonderful items. There are a lot of old rusty nails as you can see in the pictures. Also, there’s a crack in the left side that starts at the top but is still sturdy and strong. The paint has some edge wear, scrapes, patina, fading, variation of color, wood showing through, chipping and nicks. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It’s a great old cabinet / cupboard!! The cabinet measures 41.5 W x 18.5″ D x 29.75″ H. Early Antique Aafa Folk Art Wooden Doll Cradle Original Paint Square Nails Dovet

EARLY ANTIQUE AAFA FOLK ART PRIMITIVE WOODEN BABY DOLL CRADLE (c1800) ORIG PAINT SQUARE NAILS DOVETAILED. Up for sale is this wonderful old, 19th-century baby cradle. We don’t know how old but most of these we have seen are from the 1800’s. This one might be earlier that that!! It’s wood, it’s dovetailed, it has wooden pegs, it has big honking square nails and it’s just adorable! The wooden pegs are in the bottom of the crib and go in to the rockers. The big square nails are on the end and we took a close-up of those. It’s a wonderful aged-old greenish paint on the outside and a worn wood dark stained on the inside. There is some edge wear, paint loss, nicks, broken dovetails, cracks, scrapes, splatters, scratches, dings and patina. The top round part of the cradle has a crack in it as you can see, as does the side of the tall part. The side part has pulled away slightly from the crib at the crack. At the footboard there’s also a couple of cracks and the top part is a bit wiggly if you mess with it but it is still well attached. The cradle leans a little to the left as you can see from the end. All of these “issues” are just as you’d expect from an item of this age. 41″ L x 23″ H to the top and 13″ H to the cradle x 20″ W at the rockers and 14 W at the crib. Antique Aafa Folk Art Early Checkerboard Original Paint Mustard Black White

ANTIQUE AAFA FOLK ART EARLY CHECKERBOARD ORIGINAL PAINT MUSTARD WHITE BLACK. Up for sale is this old hand painted checkerboard. It has a great folk art feel to it! The board is a wonderful mustard, black and white color. It has worn edges, paint loss and hand wear. The gaming part has black /white color alternating squares. The board is a 12 x 12 game field. It appears to be made from two large pieces of wood with bread board ends. The boards have separated pretty good and you can see the seam down the middle of the checkerboard. It has old rusty round nails around the outside of the board. It measures 26.25 L x 19.75 W and is about 1.25″ thick at the edges and 2″ thick at the thickest point. There is a little wire loop on the top of the back to hang the checkerboard on the wall. You can see this in the pictures. This side also has worn edges, scrapes and hand wear. This is a very nice game board!! As mentioned, theres some edge wear, paint loss, nicks, lots of scrapes, scratches and dings. The two boards that make up the checkerboard are a little warped as they kind of hump in the middle of each board and then that creates a valley where the two boards meet in the middle. You can’t really tell when just looking at the board but when you lay it down you can see it. We tried to take a picture of this for you. These issues are just as youd expect from and item of this age. Its still just fabulous!!! Its a very nice piece for your collection. Antique folk art picture frame circa 1890. Wonderful early American folk made picture frame in it’s original painted finish. Charming stepped concentric circles elements and miniature pointed turned finials at corners. The original paint is nicely worn and has a great antique patina. Well constructed with overlapped joints and through-dowel finials. A very special and early frame with tremendous folk art appeal. Would make a great mirror or frame for an early sampler or artwork. Early Antique Folk Art Aafa Wash / Plant Stand Bucket Bench Table Original Paint

EARLY ANTIQUE FOLK ART AAFA WASH / PLANT STAND FOLDING TABLE ORIGINAL RED PAINT. Up for sale is this amazing old wash stand, plant stand or folding table. We’re not sure what it might have been used for but we are sure that it’s unique and beautiful! This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! 47″ L x 16 1/2″ W at the base of the legs by 19 H. It’s a rare, one-of-a-kind white low folding table or stand of some sort. It may have been a wash stand. It has splayed legs that fold out with little wood turns that hold the legs in place. Then the legs can be folded in and it condenses down. It doesn’t lay completely flat but it is close. In the top, on either the left or right board, there’s a handle cut out. This is to carry it by when it’s folded down. It’s very handy! The top boards are 2.75″ W x almost 1″ thick!! It’s a wonderful and nice red color and it appears to be the original paint. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, old paint, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Aafa Early Folk Art Antique Cabinet Cupboard Old Red Grey Paint Square Nails

AAFA EARLY FOLK ART ANTIQUE CABINET CUPBOARD OLD RED GREY PAINT SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful old wall cabinet or cupboard. It’s a wonderful grey / red color. It has a single door and scroll top. There are Shaker style hinges and a wooden thumb-turn spin latch. The cabinet measures 27.25 H to the main part of the cabinet and 31 H to the top of the scroll top x 19 W x 10.25 D. There is a large hole in the scroll top probably from where it was hung on the wall. The cabinet is old, but we don’t know how old. It does have square nails in the back and we took a picture of some of them for you. They are all rusty but some of the nails are round also. The paint is old and crackled with grey on top with red and wood color undertones. The back of the cupboard is wood and it made from two pieces of wood (or one split one) and the gap between the two sides is pretty obvious as you can see in the pictures. Inside there are two shelves, three sections total. The inside is painted the similar grey with stains, streaks, edgewear, patina and obvious wear from use and age. Please see the photos for an accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It’s a nice old cupboard!!
