Good Condition – wear and tears to front cover; missing back cover; plates in excellent condition with minimal aging. Softcover – 12″ x 18″; 8 page into + 30 plates. Rare publication from 1920 presenting traditional men’s sheepskin coats called “kozuchy” from Moravia and Slovakia. The illustrations are by the famous painter Joza Upkra who devoted much of his work to the documentation of traditional folk costumes. This is essentially a large folio with loose sheets/prints of the artworks along with several introductory pages at the beginning and a list of the included images. This is a complete set of 30 plates. The front cover is a bit beat up and the back cover of the folio is missing, but these damages do not detract from the beautiful plates, which are all in very good condition with only minimal aging and no tears, stains or other serious damages.
