Description & Condition: Up for sale is this pair of antique 19th Century. Folk art painting punched tin toleware wall sconces. They are decorated with flowers and vines with semicircle drip pans and are in good condition. They have holes along the bottom and were probably electrified at one time. They measure 17″ tall by 8 1/2″ wide and are probably the nicest pair I have seen. If you collect toleware don’t miss these! Please view all the photos and if you have any questions please ask. Antique rare wood early painted Noah’s Ark 72 animals Lg. Size best folk art AAFA

Precious hard to find early painted wooden ark large size 20″ long 13″ tall and 6 wide it has the best better sweet paint all orig. What I love about is is the sliding door no straps on top. The sliding door shuts well when completely closed but does not stay in place unless it is closed. There are 72 animals total ranges from 5″ for giraffe down to 4″& 3 and below the animals in the first pictures have all there legs may have small imperfections missing ears or tail but mostly really good cond. 55 total of those. Then in last pic there are 17 animals that have repairs with a bondo putty materiel but well done. These are getting harder to find and with this many animals great find. This toy measures 14 3/4″ long x 10″ deep x 11 1/2 tall. Above the door is stenciled ” LITTLE FOLKS AT HOME”. I believe this toy dates to around 1880. The glass in the windows are replacements. The paint is all original. I believe the photographs give an accurate read as to the condition of this extremely rare toy. I’m not certain that this is a George Brown piece…. I Love this toy…. Best antique wooden fruit would be a Wow on any farm house table have never been a fan of the alabaster fruit so was thrilled to find these wood ones their paint is still vibrant has normal paint loss from age just looks good enough to eat! I have ever seen ones with this good of early paint. All are amazing the apples look like they were nesting apples 14 pieces in all along with an antique very dry bowl it has a great patina and does have a crack you can see in last two pictures but it is sturdy and stable. RARE 19TH C DOCUMENT BOX IN THE BEST OLD ORIGINAL FOLK ART PAINTED DECORATION. AN EXTREMELY FINE AND EARLY 19TH CENTURY FOLK ART DECORATED DOCUMENT BOX IN WONDERFUL RED, ORANGE, WHITE, BLACK AND BLUE DECORATION OVER THE ORIGINAL WINDSOR GREEN BASE COAT. EXTRAORDINARY EARLY PAINT DECORATIONS. THIS BOX HAS A FLAT TOP AND IS MADE OF EARLY NAILED CONSTRUCTION. IT STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL IRON HINGES. THE INTERIOR HAS REMNANTS OF A 1868 NEWSPAPER FROM QUEBEC CANADA WHICH WAS USED TO SELL THE BOX AS CANADIAN… THE PAINT IS ALL ORIGINAL. IT IS GRUNGY AND WELL DONE. THE TOP HAS THE USUAL PAINT WEAR FROM MUCH USE BUT THE REST IS IN EXTREMELY FINE CONDITION, (see photos). IT HAS A VERY RARE FOLK ART INVERTED HEART DECORATION THROUGHOUT. THE PAINT IS WELL OXIDIZED but STILL BRIGHT. This BOX is “Untouched”. THIS BOX IS MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON. THE PAINT IS SPECTACULAR. The box is 14 1/2″ wide, 8″ deep and 8 1/4 tall. It exhibits only the typical wear and tear you would see from 200 years of use as I have shown in the photos. A truly great find especially in such fine condition and surface, usually these are in poor shape and have been stripped of all their paint and patina. Minor paint loss as seen. Primitive Double Candle Wall Box in Old Seafoam Blue-Green Paint Best Folk Art

This is a wonderful double wall box in beautiful old sea-foam blue/green paint. The color on this box is to die for. The lower panel is wider than the top panel and the upper box is stepped back for easy access to the bottom box. The dimensions are 15″ tall x 10-1/2″ wide x 4 deep. The box is constructed of thin hardwood with tiny square cut nails and the sides are mitered into the back. This is a reconstruction made from old wood. The painted surface is old and original but the edges have been color matched. Please view all of the photos. There are bumps and bruises and few holes here and there.
