African American Folk Artist Alphonso Willums Original 6″x8″ Painting Unfraimed. Great African American folk art painting by noted Maryland artist Alphonso Willums (1932-). Oil on canvas signed lower left and titled “London Bridge” on the reverse. Painting measures 6″ by 8″. Also included is a story of the painting by the artist. Willums paints scenes from his childhood growing up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the 1930s and 1940s.
