Outsider artist Jimmy Lee Sudduth painting of automobile, 15 x 20, signed, but not dated. A less common subject than his more common houses and people. The painting is on plywood, as is usual with his work. There are several almost impressionistic dashes of red that really make the painting zing. The predominant color probably is his well known clay soil mixture. The piece probably does not need to be framed, as he provided his own border. Needless to say, Sudduth is represented in most of the leading books on American outsider art.
