AAFA FOLK ART WOOD ANTIQUE TOTE TRAY CUT OUT HANDLES ORIGINAL RED PAINT. Up for sale is this old antique tray. It’s wood and has a handle on top to carry it by. It has original oxblood red paint with great patina! It’s a wonderful size, perfect for a table top centerpiece for the holidays! It is nailed together with old rusty nails. Inside it’s divided in to four compartments. There is a lot of edge wear, nicks, scrapes, scratches, chunks missing, and dings as you can see. All of these “issues” are just as you’d expect from an item of this age. The last picture shows where the wood has cracked along the edge of the tray. There is a small nail there to hold it and it is still sturdy. It does not detract from the item. It measures about 17″ L x 15.75″ W x 4″ H to the edge of the tray and about 6.75″ H to the top of the handle. It weighs about 6.5 lbs. 75 thick which is why it weighs so much.
