A charming pair of 19c portraits painted in watercolor and housed within period rosewood frames. The sitters are Mr. Members of White Hall Place (Royal Geographical Society) in London and pencil dated on verso 1837. Each frame measures 12.50″ x 10.25″ , the watercolor measuring approx. The condition is good considering age with some fading/toning noted on the interior paper. Surface wear to the frame and the inner gilt fillet. All tolled a handsome pair of decorative portraits. Please excuse any glare in our photos. The item “Antique Pair 19c English School Water Color Folk Art Portraits 1837″ is in sale since Monday, January 15, 2018.
