AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART NOAHS ARK WITH 26 ANIMALS GERMAN GREAT ORIGINAL PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful super cute Noah family and Noahs ark. Wow, what an amazing collection of Noahs family and animals along with this little ark! The ark is a yellow, orange, blue, green, grey and white with a reddish orange roof. The roof has a little dove with an olive branch painted on it. Its all hand painted. Theres a little band, just under the roof, painted in a pale pink, maroon and white color pattern. On side of the ark is slightly more faded than the other which is brighter and cleaner. The ark measures 13.5 long at the base and 8.5 long for just the ark part. Its about 3.5 wide and by 5.5 H. For size, the people and animals are. Little pink pig: 1-1/8 H. The hinges of the roof are little pieces of wire and you can lift up the roof and see inside. When the roof closes, theres a little wire loop that goes through a slot in the roof. But, it is the original roof and the ark appears to be all original. There are 6 adults and 1 child. Noah is missing and arm and the child is missing their forearm. The rest of the adults are in amazing condition! The Noah (blue) is fantastic, as his color is very good. He even has his staff. There are 26 very adorable animals with this ark. Theyve been well loved and played with over the years and as such, there are some missing body parts. Weve taken pictures of them, so be sure to look and see the pictures. The ones missing legs are laying down in the pictures because they dont stand on their own. There are 9 laying down. The others appear to be quite concerned about their friends. As youd expect, there are scuffs and paint loss, scrapes, scratches, nicks, dings, cracks edge wear, smudges and patina! AFA Antique primitive folk art, carved wood painted two piece Noah’s Ark – likely made in Germany, late 1800s / early 1900s. Noah and wife are attached to ark. Includes 20 animals – 9 pairs (dogs, elephants, horses, camels, sheep, pigs) and two single animals (deer with antlers). Roof lifts off, ark is hollow for storage of animals. AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART NOAH’S ARK TOY BOAT WOOD ANIMALS STICK LEG PUTZ GERMAN? Up for sale is this adorable antique Folk Art Noah’s Ark including Noah + 16 animals. The Ark is probably from the early 1900’s. It has original hand-painted windows and trim accents. The ark itself measures about. 7.25 L for just the boat and 10.5 L at the base. The little cows are 1.25 H x 1.75 L. All the animals are all so cute!! It has its roof and half of it flips up on little red fabric or tape like things. The paint on the ark is a nice faded soft cream, almost a soft green color with brown Tudor style accents and a black and bittersweet roof. The bottom of the boat is more red as you can see in the pictures. It’s all hand-painted with wonderful detail and character. The paint is smudged, worn, patina-ed and original. Inside it’s a single compartment for all of your animals. The bottom of the ark is flat as you can see in the pictures. This ark comes with 16 animals that are wooden nicely detailed and hand painted. 2 grey zebra like things, 2 yellow lambs, 2 black and white cows, 2 orangish zebras. 2 pink pigs, 1 brown and white cow and 1 tan and white cow, 2 reddish dogs? And 2 white dogs. The animals also have paint loss, scrapes, patina, smudges, chips, dots, marks. They all have four legs, stand up and their ears. They appear to be all original. FABULOUS AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART NOAHS ARK WITH 22 ANIMALS GERMAN? Up for sale is this wonderful super cute Noah’s ark. Wow, what great color on this little ark!! It’s a yellow, orange, green, black, grey and blue with a black roof. It’s all hand painted. The little band, just under the roof, where the floral pattern is appears to be a decal but the color and condition is very good. There’s a little piece missing on the one side where the roof comes completely off as you can see in the picture with the roof off. Both sides of the roof are there but the tape has come off at the hinge point so the one side just lays there. But, it is the original roof and the ark appears to be all original. On one end of the ark the wall is separating from the ark just a little. It’s still solid but you can see the gap in the pictures. There are 22 very adorable animals with this ark. They’ve been well loved and played with over the years and as such, there are some missing body parts. We’ve taken pictures of them very close, so be sure to look and see, but the large deer animals are missing an antler, and some of the animals are missing a leg. The one’s missing legs are laying down in the pictures. There are 5 laying down. The others appear to be quite concerned about their friends. As you’d expect, there are scuffs and paint loss, scrapes, scratches, nicks, dings, cracks edge wear, smudges and patina! What a great look!! He seems to still be very happy! The ark measures 10.5″ long at the base and 7.5″ long for just the ark part. It’s about 3″ wides and by 5″ H. The little animals measure. Little black guy in the middle: 3/4 H x 1.25 L. Precious hard to find early painted wooden ark large size 20″ long 13″ tall and 6 wide it has the best better sweet paint all orig. What I love about is is the sliding door no straps on top. The sliding door shuts well when completely closed but does not stay in place unless it is closed. There are 72 animals total ranges from 5″ for giraffe down to 4″& 3 and below the animals in the first pictures have all there legs may have small imperfections missing ears or tail but mostly really good cond. 55 total of those. Then in last pic there are 17 animals that have repairs with a bondo putty materiel but well done. These are getting harder to find and with this many animals great find. Late 19th C. German Folk Art Toy Painted Wood Noah’s Ark with 22 carved animals

This is a wonderful late 19th century German Folk Art Toy Wooden Noah’s Ark in original paint with 22 carved and painted wood animals. The painted soft-wood ark measures approximately 11-1/8″ long and stands approximately 4-3/4″ high to the roof’s peak. The paint is original. The original cloth roof lid hinges are present, but detached, as shown in the photos. The ark shows wear, commensurate with age. It contains 22 small, carved and painted animals, including one bird. The carved wood animals show both wear and losses, most noticeably to the legs, commensurate with age. While unmarked, this form of flat-bottom ark with style of paint decoration is commonly attributed to a German origin from the latter part of the 19th century. This hard to find example in original paint would be a wonderful addition to any antique folk art collection, country antique collection, or antique toy collection.
