The painting is beautifully done as you can see from the pictures. Not sure of the date but it appears to be set in an art deco frame so probably from the 50s or the 60s. It is not sign but someone took a lot of time to paint this gorgeous piece. The painting is self measures approximately 24″ x 38″ It is framed out to six 30″ x 44″and is ready to hang on the wall. Vintage watercolor painting original Aldren Watson. “Frontier Days” by Aldren A. Watson, 1917- 2013 Painted in 1953, this lovely watercolor depicts many scenes from the Old West era. Approximate measurements 14″x 16 1/4″ Framed (11 1/2″ x 14″ painting) The frame is the original and made of a quality hardwood and is solid with some dings, scuffs and scratches but nothing major. The Artwork itself is vibrant and shows very little, if any, fading. I don’t see any flaws or imperfections. The edges are fragile and display a few areas of slight decomposition. Please review all photos carefully for they are part of the description. I also suggest to research this amazing, well know artist and his many accomplishments.
