This decoy has been used and shows wear and tear typical of working vintage decoys. This has not had any restoration and is in the condition found. The canvas is stretched over styrofoam and is attached to a wooden base. The head is carved wood. Old timers from the area have told us older canvas geese bodies were sometimes removed from wooden forms and stretched over styrofoam to reduce weight and make them last longer.
